They certainly seem to be pushing every RINO our way. I am a New Yorker, always have been, born and raised (want out but have NO idea where to go).

Rudy would be great for National Defense....what he did to NYC (everyone in NYC hated the man, especially unions). He turned what used to be a crap filled dangerous toilet called NYC into what it is now....or used to be.

As POTUS, I say HELL NO. National Defense, I say yes. He is not politically correct and does have a spine of steel. He was IN 9/11, survived and preserved. Remember, at that time he was Americas Mayor. He takes no sh&t.

However, he is socially lib; therefore NOT a Conservative, which is what our country needs as POTUS.

I say get ready fellow Conservatives......for the fight of our lives, and I mean that literally.

Sarah or bust, or it's on to phase two which has been spoken of, but can be avoided if we ALL stand our ground.

Sarah or phase two. YOU decide.

The survey shows Giuliani getting 16 percent of independents and Republicans...

By, "Independents", you mean, "DemocRATS".

This really shouldn’t worry anyone. Last time around, John McCain got more votes than Rudy G.
He just doesn’t play well in the sticks. I’m a lot more worried about Romney.

Conservatives rejected Rudy in 2008 and they would again if he decides to run.

>>>>>>Rudy would be great for National Defense....what he did to NYC (everyone in NYC hated the man, especially unions). He turned what used to be a crap filled dangerous toilet called NYC into what it is now....or used to be.

Lets clear things up. Rudy would not be good for national defense. He was a draft dodger. Also, the NYC unions received very generous contracts from Rudy and the number of city employees went up under Giuliani.

The decrease in crime throughout NYC began under Mayor Dinkins. With strong support from Police Commissioner Howard Safir, Rudy was able to enforce tough anti-crime measures associated with the "broken windows" policies. Those policies were instituted under Transit Police Chief, William J. Bratton during Dinkins run as Mayor. Mayor Bloomberg seems to have done the best job fighting crime in NYC. But I wouldn't ever be voting for Bloomberg, Dinkins or Giuliani.

Truth is, Rudy is an authoritarian who believes in strong gun control policies. While Rudy did a good job as Mayor by NYCity standards, cleaning up Times Square, eliminating the squeegee-men, arresting public urinators and catching turnstile jumpers are not the issues that conservatives will be judging candidates on in the GOP primaries. And Rudy's leadership after 911 is way overblown.

Just more misinformation by/from the Liberal Media. With Obama and his mob controlling the MSM, what else can we expect? As Rush says: Don’t let the Libs pick the Republican candidate for us.

I don’t mind Rudy but why are they polling independents for the Republican primary field?

Rudy??? I just threw up in my mouth.

For any Rudymites out there, I'll restate what I said often during 2007 and early 2008:

I have always voted R for President, all the way back to Reagan, but I will vote third party if Rudy gets the nomination.

They did so, and very quickly. Thank you and God Bless FR!!!

"Sarah or bust, or it's on to phase two"

That's not quite clear. If it's not Sarah then is it bust or is it phase two?

A social liberal might be OK if he supports the 10th amendment. There is very little social policy legitimately decided at the federal level.

Any idea where Giuliani stands on State rights and the Constitution?

“I am a New Yorker, always have been, born and raised (want out but have NO idea where to go).”

Look into Oklahoma — good people, conservative values, easy to make friends, lots of land and house values are affordable. Prepare for a culture shock, but you’ll like it.

Rudy hosted the Palins at a baseball game and has been quite respectful of her. He’d be a true national hero if he could get in and dilute the moderate Romney vote so she’d have a clear path to the nomination.

I’d be fine with it if she then balanced her ticket with Rudy. After all, it’s not like he’d still be viable to follow in her footsteps in eight years (and we’ve plenty of younger pols coming along for that anyway).

He’s a gun-grabbing, baby-killing homo supporter. Not a lot of daylight between him and the Dems - no matter what his public statements suggest.

I don’t care WHAT he did for NYC. He also gave NYC Mayor Bloomberg, as liberal a piece of sh*t if ever there was one.

I don’t want him ANYWHERE near the reins of Federal power.

If the GOP nominates him, I WILL GO THIRD PARTY.

If a politician does not understand the most basic RIGHT of a human being - to be Alive, to have a chance to be born, and to be able to DEFEND that life, I’ll have nothing - ZERO - to do with them, and will spend every waking moment to defeat them.

No more RINOS. Not now, not EVER.

I just don’t see this as realistic; he’s got too much baggage. This early out, it’s probably name recognition alone. When all Julie’s baggage is revisited, he’ll be toast.

The Dims, uber-Libs and RINOs want to give us our choice of potential "moderate" "GOP" candidates. Today's pablum for the mushy middle: Rudy Giuliani.

They are so afraid of true Conservatives! I love it!
