The Palestinian Authority announced on Thursday that Spain has decided to recognize a Palestinian state along the 1967 lines before September. A spanish diplomat told Palestinian negotiator Nabil Shaath that Spain would support making the state of Palestine a UN member.
The announcement came as Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas met in Cairo on Monday, under the auspices of Egyptian authorities, with Ramadan Shallah, Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad organization, and his deputy, Ziad Nakhleh.

Four. Call it whatever you want, pass all the laws you want, issue all the UN declarations to want, its still a tail, and a dog still has only four legs.
The two state solution was instituted the day Israel was born; Jordan for the arab palestinians, and Israel for the jewish palestinians. The third state sandwiched between them, with no economy, no sources of employment, no industry, that lives by whatever it can shake down by threatening terrorism, is not a viable state and will never be one.
Spain chose the dark side the day they elected Zapatero. We did the same when we elected Obama. We’ve still got a chance to set it right, and we’d better get it rightt his time or bad things will happen.
