WHARTON, Texas (AP) -- A Texas judge has signed an order that voids the marriage of a transgender widow whose firefighter husband died battling a blaze.

The order prevents Nikki Araguz from receiving the death benefits of her firefighter husband, Thomas Araguz III, who died last year.

Oh good grief. I thought everyone knew you have to go to Soddom and Gomorrah to have transgender relationships...

She is not a she, she is still a he, regardless of the body parts removed and changed. Test its DNA and it will be plain he is still a he. Good for this judge.

This kind of bothers me. On one hand it is not a natural thing to be attracted to and in a relationship with someone who is in possession of a “vascularized vagina”, to me that is just wrong.

However, the dead fireman was content and happy and living like a couple. Why should he not be able to leave his estate to whomever he pleases?

Prior to the homosexuals wanting government in our bedrooms, nobody would have ever know this couple was a he and a disfigured individual with a vascularized vagina. This whole situation, which is just too weird, has become even more ridiculous because people have begun sticking their noses in other peoples business. I just don’t find it right a bunch of greedy, jealous relatives, (we all have a few in our families),have sued to void the fireman’s last wish, there lies the rub.

Apparently he did not know he was with someone who was born a male. Look at the video report I posted a link to above.

The estate will go to his 2 minor children by a previous marriage. Not exactly the same as greedy relatives and I don’t know if he left a will.

In any case, it’s bizarre.

The law covering the distribution of death benefits of the fireman said that they could go to a spouse. If there was no marriage there was no spouse. This is not something that was subject to a private last will and testament.

They were separated at his time of death. Earlier news stories claimed it was because he had been defrauded into marrying a transgender.

Why should he not be able to leave his estate to whomever he pleases?

That's a very fair question. I'm willing to bet that there's more going on here than this article tells us. While I find this arrangement bizzare to say the least, I believe that consenting adults should be able to leave their estates to whomever they wish for whatever reasons they wish.

I don't care if this firefighter wanted to leave his money to a person with a 'vascularized vagina', (I don't want to know that that is, thanks), or if he left it to a home for indignant cats. It was his estate and he should be free to do with it what he wishes.

You need to familiarize yourself with the story. The fireman was separated from his “wife,” the “transgender,” claiming he didn’t know he had “married” another man. Chances are, he would have had the “marriage” voided anyway, were he not killed in the accident. There was no interfering with the wishes of this man; the demands to plunder his estate and gain his retirement were solely on the side of the pervert.

If she had sex reassignment surgery after they married, as she said she did, there was no legal marriage because there was no legal basis for being an opposite sex marriage. End of story.

However, the dead fireman was content and happy and living like a couple. Why should he not be able to leave his estate to whomever he pleases?

Because it is not the "estate" ... It is taxpayer money being given to that which is unnatural--and not legally marriage. Marriage exists ONLY between ONE MAN and ONE WOMAN ... Any other arrangement is not marriage, but rather the perversion of marriage.

Prior to the homosexuals wanting government in our bedrooms, nobody would have ever know this couple was a he and a disfigured individual with a vascularized vagina.

Only a blind fool could not tell all the other attributes and proportions were wrong: Hands, feet, hips, larnxy, etc... You can ALWAYS distinguish one of these freaks from a true woman.

...This whole situation, which is just too weird, has become even more ridiculous because people have begun sticking their noses in other peoples business.

Well, perhaps had they not stuck their perversion into our faces and made an issue out of it, then NOBODY would have noticed.

...I just don’t find it right a bunch of greedy, jealous relatives, (we all have a few in our families),have sued to void the fireman’s last wish, there lies the rub.

Perhaps it is not anything to do with "greed," but rather everything to do with honor ... a quality you seem a little short on.
