I’m not responding to all of you on this genetic predisposition thing. Just start reading on it and you will see. It is indisputable. Just get on Google for a bit and then come back and insult me with some information where MAO A gene patterns in black populations has been refuted as a genetic marker to violence. I think you will re-assess your skepticism.

Um, no , why don’t YOU provide the statistics, seeing as you’re one of the ones making the ridiculous “genetic” argument. And while you’re at it, make sure you do a “compare and contract” to all those killed in Europe (whites killing whites, if I remember correctly) during WW1 and WW2. Or how about the American Civil War? Need I continue?

I’m not even sure, however, that your studies of MAO-A gene patterns is conclusive of a genetic predisposition to violence. Genetic isolation and cultural isolation go hand in hand, having a common cause, but not a causATIVE relationship.
IE, there is a correlation between MAO-A gene patterns and the black population, and there is a correlation between violent cultural tendencies and the black population,
but there is/may be no _causation_ between MAO-A gene patterns and violent tendencies.
What verse is that?

Judge Judy and other court shows have what seem to be an inordinate number of blacks suing one another. What I notice, however, is that dumb doesn’t discriminate. Whites on camera suffer from the same ailment. It’s sad, though, to see the English language mutilated so badly on a regular basis.
Didn’t Philly recently complain that an inordinate number of black crimes were being reported/prosecuted? It gave the city and black residents a bad reputation. Maybe businesses fleeing the city, etc.. Urban blight, Detroit here we come.

The morons who say look at Africa are ignoring the africa of the past where there were plenty of peaceful tribes and no more violence than anywhere else. Africans have been killing each other for thousands of years, europeans have been killing each other for thousands of years, asians have been killing each other for thousands of years and native Americans were killing each other for thousands of years.

Many people have committed the “correllation is causation” logic fallacy on many topics. Race is such a volatile issue, though, that it is easy to jump to the conclusion that someone who makes this fallacious argument is a “racist”.

To the best of my knowledge there is not a single genetically mandated voluntary behavior.
All violence is voluntary. People CHOOSE to kill, assault, batter, steal, rape etc. People can just as easily CHOOSE to not perform thsoe behaviors.
So whether there is a genetic correllation is entirely beside the point. People are responsible for their behavior no matter why they behave that way. (Certain mentally deranged (severely retarded) persons may be possible exceptions).
Blacks commit more crimes because blacks CHOOSE to commit more crimes and they should be punished accordingly. ALL VIOLENT CRIME IS INTENTIONAL
