Desperate to stay out of jail, bad boy politician JOHN EDWARDS begged his mistress and mother of his love child Rielle Hunter to cover up for him, but she flatly refused, sources say.

If he and his padner had by some stroke of luck, and why not, won the election, this scumbag, like the scumbags before him, Klintoon and Goron, would have been the nation’s highly esteemed political intellectual, “author” of bestsellers (written by ghostwriters, as is the custom), on director’s boards of major corporations, media star as big as Lady Gaga.
The comparison with the superstars like Klintoon and Goron, is I think wholly appropriate, as they are all one hit wonders, who got lucky at the roulette wheel and there is very little difference between, among them.

And the Democrats loved this guy. In fact, most would probably be happy to vote for him even today.
Edwards is a Democrat after all. None of this other stuff - - honesty, integrity, character, etc. - - matters to Democrat voters. All that matters to them is that their Democrat politician confiscate money from their neighbors and hand the loot over to them in exchange for their votes. It’s strictly about the “free stuff”. Nothing else matters to Democrat voters. Nothing. It’s that way across the nation, from coast to coast.
Edwards ought to relocate to a concentrated Democrat parasite nest (”city”) somewhere and run for office.

The NE has gotten a few scoops and I have to hand it to them for following the Edwards story at the beginning, but do you really think they have a secret recording device in the Edwards-Hunter household?

Now an indictment is not a conviction, and Edwards is as sleazy a lawyer as has ever crawled up out of the primordial ooze.
Plus, the DOJ is headed by Holder/Obama. Do you really think they will send Edwards to jail, once the threat of any political future is neutralized?
My money is on an indictment followed by months and years of negotiations, followed by a plea bargain with no jail time, and a slow fade to obscurity.
