Beneath Cristian Fernandez's baby-faced looks lies a misguided soul that his lawyers argue should gain him mercy as the 12-year-old's first-degree murder case navigates through Jacksonville's court system.
Fernandez is charged with the March 14 beating death of his 2-year-old half-brother, David Galarriago, at the family's Southside apartment. The defense contends the charges are built alongside a dossier exposing family turmoil, sexual battery and an abusive stepfather's suicide.

It’s always good to have a bunch of excuses when you murder a two year old.
And here all the liberals tell us the anchor babies are here because of their evil parents, yet they get to pop out kids as 12 years old? Go on welfare, abuse their children, then blame the "system" when the anchor baby's baby murders the 2 year old anchor baby baby boy.
Are they trying to tell us that a stable family is important for children? nawwwwww
Too bad this animal will never pay for its crimes. It will be out of prison by the time it is 21. And the death penalty? Hah... the tyrants in black thought we are too civilized to put minors to death.
That will keep us all safer?
Fortunately, today there are effective methods of mental health treatment, and in 6 years (to 18, not 21) it’s possible the human, if any is still left, will have learned how to cope with the “animal” inside.
I’m wondering if the boy had not killed, he would have been tagged (talking loosely or otherwise) as a case of “arrested development.”

There is only one way, and that id Jesus Christ.
No other way ever has or will work.
The mother and child went to foster care together.
This is the new, Obama America.

Unfortunately he’s definitely broken goods. Rehabilitation, huh? That’s quite a risk. If they go with it, make him live with his shysters and hold them criminally liable for anything he does.
Your second absolute statement is, I believe, not borne out by empirical science. The result would not be eternal salvation of course, but may well be someone who can rub along comfortably in the world without causing chaos around himself.
Yet of all approaches to mental health care, faith based approaches are known to be the best, and Christ centered faith based approaches are best of all.
Uh...we are too civilized to put minors to death. Executing children is not, I repeat not, a plank in any conservative platform.
Foster care does not have the same aim. It just showed that the mother was so young she counted as a child ward of the state.

The nuclear family.

Until his next ‘unexpected’ erruption when someone cuts in front of him in line or at a freeway off-ramp.

I don’t think you’re pulling this from duly analyzed science; and Christians, too, can tragically fail under temptations to such things as road rage.
