Idaho To Be First Chinese State
Governor Butch Otter, in league with
.(Barack) Obama, has hatched a plan to make Idaho the first Chinese owned state in America. Otter and company have named this Project 60. Sounds innocent enough, until you realize that Otter and his minions are afraid to call it what it is, globalization of America and surrender of sovereignty. If it were called that someone may want to charge Otter with sedition. Under
.Obama it has become increasingly difficult to do business in America, unless you are from a foreign nation. Idaho, under the stewardship of Governor Butch Otter, has opened the door for a Chinese invasion wherein the sovereignty of Idaho and America will be sodomized by all parties involved

Hmm. Wonder what all those folks who went to Idaho to get as far away from the govt as they could will think?
For the record, this sounds like BS.
Well, I have seen some suspicious foreigners getting brides from Idaho, so I was wondering. It just corroborated with my personal acquaintances with these people praising Idaho.
“...the sovereignty of Idaho and America will be sodomized..”
Can we please start the trade war already?
There are a lot of guns here in Idaho.
Including the Panhandle?
Isn’t the first time I’ve heard of this. Something to do with free enterprise zones. It will be sovreign Chinese land. They save costs on shipping. Not subject to our laws or taxes. Kept under the radar to avoid the MSM and citizen uproar. New world order at work.
If the Chinese think this is permanent, or even Constitutional. they’re in for a rude surprise.
I believe a State cannot directly deal with a foreign power and give up part of that State.
One of the ‘legal eagles’ here on Free Republic should be able to clarify the issue, I’m sure.
>> Sounds innocent enough
Like hell it does!
You are correct. The Constitution is very clear on States making treaties and dealing with international affairs with foreign Governments.
However, it is not unconstitutional to sell PUBLIC land held by the State when it is up for bid. I would expect a popular uprising by the citizens of Idaho and quite possibly the surrounding states via militia to revolt, arrest those public officials and foreign agents, and re institute a State Government.
This would be grounds for secession and even the impeachment of the President.
“This would be grounds for secession and even the impeachment of the President.”
Was Obama involved in this? I thought it was just the State of Idaho?
The Constitution guarantees a Republican form of Government to every citizen. A state cannot dissolve and sell its sovereignty to any foreign entity.
Zero, being the POTUS, must act and most likely would not.
I believe you are confusing those with the free trade UNESCO sites located in our national parks. Big difference.
As you may or may not know, Mexican millionaire businessmen are flooding into Texas on the millionaire visa to escape the cartels' protection rackets.
You know this Idaho thing is up to no good because the company that supplies french fries to McDonalds is involved
Since I live near American Falls, there are no chinese firtilizer plants here. There is one on the drawing board that will never be built, the “investors” cannot get enough funding. If it was the chinese they would have the money.
Well here in Humboldt County Simpson Timer is selling logs to China while Schmidmauer Lumber has had periods of shut downs due to a lack of logs and for irony the sawmill sits on one side of the Rr tracks and peeled logs are being loaded on ships on the other side down the street just west of my son’s business in Eureka
Idaho already has a Moscow... how much could a Beijing hurt?
That’s what the Constitution says.
I’m no legal but, I can read.:)
As long as the goods do not enter American commerce, they can be moved in and out of the zone freely. A typical example might be Chinese electronic components assembled in an American made case and shipped to another foreign country. As long as they do not enter into the commerce of the United States (i.e. delivered to an American Wal-Mart for American sale), they can move in and out duty free-- a huge advantage over paying component duty costs.
It means some American jobs might actually stay in America. Nothing sinister about it.
I ate there once at Karl Marx Pizza. Is it still there?
My fiancee’ has a mining company. Not long ago his attorney was in a meeting somewhere with a bunch of Chinese businessmen. They were very interested in getting into some Idaho mining deals with my fiancee’. He was told that if a Chinese businessperson invested a million dollars in this country and created 6 American jobs then the govt would issue them a green card. He did not pursue it but it sure ties in with this story.
Otter, Obama and the attack on business in America paves the way for China to own us. A Chinese firm is building a fertilizer plant in American Falls Idaho. Ironic. China has bought fifty square miles of land south of Boise, thirty thousand acres of Idaho gone to foreign nationals.
So it's bad when foreigners buy US companies and real estate because they're invading and taking over. It's also bad when Americans buy foreign companies and real estate because it's disloyal to the US and it sends money overseas. That's logic of the expandable one-size-fits-all variety.
YOu are wrong. Just as Islam does not allow churches built where they are from, China and RUssia are completely unaccountable as we would be to them.
"YOu are wrong. Just as Islam does not allow churches built where they are from, China and RUssia are completely unaccountable as we would be to them."
All I got was that I'm wrong about something with Islam which has something to do with Americans and the Chinese hiring each other's workers. Was there something else you were saying?
Yeah, something along the line of baiting us into deals that we cannot obviously verify or enforce fairly and then, you know, asking questions and baiting more for errors on our parts, painting the US into some kind of irresponsible or belligerent oppressor... It’s the tactic... yeah. Nice, that is how I would do it as a Chinese or enabler.
