5 American Soldiers Killed in Iraq

In the single largest loss of life for the American military in Iraq in the past two years, five troops were killed in central Iraq, U.S. officials said.

Amen. Get us out of everywhere, NOW. These wars are no longer worth it. If our politicians decide to keep us there more than just “volunteers” should have to share the burden; I think politicians kids, and the rich should be made to shell out their kids for these adventures.

Prayers up for their loved ones and for all of those on the base that was hit. I just left there...

I'm waiting to hear if I knew any of these guys.

Even if I didn't, this is heartbreaking. My heart goes out to their brothers-in-arms and their families.

Thought O brought all the troops home from Iraq. Last I checked there were still 45,000 over there..another broken campaign promise?

One of the young men was a graduate of our local high school. Family has been notified, the young man will be flown into Wright Patterson AFB Thursday.

Every flag in this town is flying at half mast.

Ours is a very patriotic, conservative town.

The Status of Forces Agreement made in 2008 has the US troops all out of Iraq by December 31 of this year.
