The BBC is blatantly anti-Christian
The Daily Caller ^ | June 7, 2011 | B.P. Terpstra

Advocates of “public broadcasting” often point to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) as a role model for other television networks. I wonder if it bothers them that the BBC is hysterically anti-Christian.

As The Telegraph reports, “The BBC uses ‘derogatory stereotypes’ to portray Christians while marginalizing older women, according to the corporation’s own research.”

Staff and viewers alike have aired concerns about the derogatory stereotypes as well as the BBC’s overall liberal bias — and with good reason. You only have to watch this dribble on satellite television to taste the Christophobia. From campaigning reporters to cartoon-villain priests, the network’s subtle and not-so-subtle anti-Christian snobbery is hard to deny.

Many BBC heads demonstrate what I call “entitlement theology.” Basically, they see themselves as intellectually superior to the average Briton and therefore feel entitled to push their liberal politics on the ignorant masses who don’t know what’s good for them. Perhaps by showcasing the right thoughts they can liberate television viewers from their Biblical worldviews.

But the BBC’s propagandists have a double standard when it comes to Islam, “the religion of peace.” As the Mail Online’s Harry Phibbs has observed, “BBC executives have admitted that although they would show a scene where a Bible was thrown away, they would never do the same with a copy of the Koran. We have had the BBC TV series Spooks portraying evangelical Christians as terrorists seeking to murder Muslims.”

well unfortunately this is harldy news :-(
When a muslim kills someone its allways the american citizen

killed this or that guy.
The fact that his name maybe was mohammed jihad (born in a ME Hell hole and only here because we are dumb enought to accept asylum seekers) is just “forgotten”.
But heaven forbid a REAL citizens dares to only insult the religion of “pieces”.
You can expect a photo, his full name + a apolgy to the whole muslim world from our politicians because of this simple guy who dared to insult islam!

I listen daily to the beautifully-presented Morning Service on BBC Radio 4. As also to the uplifting weekly Choral Evensong on Radio 3, and to Songs of Praise on BBC1. Plenty of Christianity on the BBC if you kow where to find it.

I wish a few Christian songs could offsets buckets and buckets of anti-Christian hate speech. Incidentally, many “Christian songs” are censored or changed on the BBC…another issue.

The regular service broadcasts I mentioned are rather more than ‘a few Christian songs’....plenty of prayers, Bible readings and and homilies also. Unfortunately blanket statements about ‘BBC bias’ on this, that or the other subject tend to assume that the BBC is just its News & Current Affairs output. In fact news programmes are only a small part of what the BBC does. There’s a tendency to assume that when a particular opinion is voiced on the BBC it somehow represents an ‘official’ BBC point of view - when in fact the BBC carries a wide range of often contradictory opinions. Personal biases of individual editors or producers certainly become apparent in some programmes...but that’s very different from a deliberate and conscious bias on the part of the whole Corporation.

You’ll find anti-Christian sermons incorporated in “nature documentaries” and “soap operas” as well. The said report was filled out by thousands of Brits (within and outside the BBC).

BBC viewers and staff have complained about anti-Christian bias. I’ve lived in England and witnessed it firsthand. BBC heads happily promote anti-Christian views and also admit that they’d never tolerate similar anti-Koran messages.

It infects their whole culture. Even when
Christian “sermons” and “songs” are tolerated they’re often feminized, to serve liberal-leaning Christians.
Feel free to move to England and speak to BBC employees.
