Kasich Plans Golf Outing With Obama, Biden, Boehner
The Columbus Dispatch ^ | June 10, 2011 | Joe Vardon

Posted on 06/11/2011 1:36:45 AM PDT by Lancey Howard

Gov. John Kasich has a special round of golf coming up.

Kasich will join President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and U.S. House Speaker John Boehner as the fourth member in a golf foursome that will take to the links June 18.

Kasich spokesman Rob Nichols confirmed Kasich's place in the foursome, and the Cincinnati-area Republican Boehner said as much on his Twitter account.

Obama and Boehner, both avid golfers, scheduled the golf outing to smooth over some of their differences as they seek a compromise over raising the national debt limit and cutting spending.

So much for the anticipated 2012 TV ad campaign showing how out of touch Ubama is, golfing his simple Marxist behind off while soldiers and Marines are dying overseas, and people are losing their jobs, homes, and savings.

How freaking stupid can some Republicans get?

The article says they are going golfing together to resolve those little matters of adding a few more trillion to the debt ceiling and reducing the rate of growth in spending. Yikes.

I am up to here with the scumbags.

Well, here is the gist
The people are p...ed
And we'll vote him out before long

Jackwagon Obama never created or saved any green shoots, even the ones the the piss-stream media harped about.

Look at what we have become in 28 months.

He must be thrilled.

SO damn typical of DC Elites! Go along to get along.

There isn't a dime's difference between all of them. Any wonder the TEA Party was so influential in the last election?
But still, these political power mongers ignore the will of the people and continue with their country club golfing side talks to forward their own political agendas. Everyone knows that politics and corporate dealings are often decided on the links.

I have come to despise ALL politicians, with few exceptions. If this is true, then Boehner's crybaby tears has led him to compromise his principles. Now what???

The CHANGEtimes are coming to the most prosperous, charitable, and social/ecomick Economic problems are now upon us, and they will get worse from Bambi's and other Agency agendas. The time is coming when someone somewhere will say no more and go ballistic. He/she will be considered as a kook, but if enough follow in the foot

Wish I had the leadership and PR savvy. Since I don't, '[

Obama thinks he is.

At least according to his score card.
His golf score is 170 and he Bowls at an 82.

'series', Barry is THE WORST 'golfer' in the world. He makes Charles Barkley look like Arnold Palmer.

Obama whiffs with a 9-Iron on the practice tee.

The Country is circling the drain on every front and these idiots ( our fearless leaders) are down at the country clubs plotting a round of golf.

To say I am disgusted with our leadership is such an understatement that I cannot conceive of a metaphor to describe it.

Golf is a stupid game for people with too much time on their hands. The comparisons to Rome and Nero are stunningly apropos.

Boehner and Kaisich are finished in my book.

“DLM” only ran for 2 seasons but easily the best series ever cancelled - HIGHLY recommended! “Daisy, Daisy Adair” is the most gorgeous reaper!

*** Will they each have a golf cart driven by a secret service agent? That way maybe they will not get lost. ***

If I was golfing with Barry I'd demand a separate cart. As there's no telling where his ball will wind up. So yeah he would need someone to help him -- if there's bushes or woods he'll be in them.

*** What ever happened to meeting in an air conditioned room with a bottle of Jack Daniels on the table, and solving problem like men instead of 4 wimps out of a golf course that is closed to the real golfers for the day ***

There 'used to be' a saying in Golf, 'You never meet an a-hole on a golf course'. And I found that to be true back when I golfed. People had all the 'Golf Etiquette' in the world while playing. But afterwards in the Clubhouse, some guys started turning into 100% Jerkweeds. This is when I started going straight home, no hanging out for a soda or beer. (I already knew enough a-holes and didn't need to know any more)

But like 'those days' are gone, so is solving things by sitting down over a whiskey and cigar and acing like men.

Kasich is probably going at Boehner’s request. Boenher is from Ohio (unfortunately) Zero probably wanted Kasich there to try and bamboozle him because he’s a Republican, and zero fears losing Ohio in 2012. Don’t worry - Kasich won’t cave.

In Washington, every step a politician takes has political meaning. What exactly do Boehner and Kasish expect from this kowtowing to the President? How do they expect to benefit? Do they really think that their constituents will appreciate what they are doing? Let’s be frank, Beohner is a failure, and Kasich is the kind of guy who goes to a party and ends up with a lampshade on his head. If this presages anything, it is that Boehner is ready to capitulate on debt, and Kasich is stupid enough to kick away the Republican advantage gained in Ohio.

Finally, I was trying to remember if any Democrat had ever played golf with George W. Bush while he was president. Any help?

Greetings Lancey Howard:

Up until this point democRats killed nearly every bill the Speaker passed in the Senate. And did Ohio’s Governor forget that Pres_ _ent 0bama dispatched his flying monkeys to protest SB5.

Rather than watching pied piper 0bama lead his “Party before Country” lemmings off the cliff, Speaker Bohner and Governor Kaisch are wrestling away the flute from 0bama.

What ever happened to the political strategy: whenever your opponent is self-destructing, get out of the way?

(Wouldn't be surprised to see Kasich run for Pres. again sometime BTW now that he's getting exec. experience. And he will play VERY well on TV to the public with a Mr. Smith persona.)

Knee jerk selfrightousness

The possibility exists that Kasich is on a reconnaissance mission set up by his buddy Boehner to study how a president goes golfing. When he is President he will have some Presidential golfing experience.
