"Sumi should join Kloppy for drinks and tears"

Actually they should be dismissed and disbarred.

The politicization of law needs to be dealt with and very harshly too.

Good. Wisconsin is going to lead America back to Liberty. Have been listening to Belling on my way home and his wit and keen investigative nature makes for compelling talk radio. He is documenting the way out, as is Scott Walker and the rest of your brave conservatives. Cheers to all, we will see you soon!

Hey that was only 3.5 weeks ago, I must have been sick, asleep, out-of-the-country or out of my mind [choose one or all]. Glad to know that that one finished without a Minnesota / Washington State ending.

Thanks to all for lighting me up! /grin

You all did very well! Sure am glad you’re on our side. Especially for 2012 and unseating Obama. :)

Congrats!

Yes! I’ve been saying the same thing. Dems have put all their union eggs in the govt basket and sold their private brethren down the river. No slight to gays and enviros and their hefty contributions, but the unions are the 800 pound ATM machine for the DNC. The GOP has them by the shorthairs and is just beginning to realize it.

If the GOP would focus in on re-industrialization, immigration enforcement, and rebuilding the infrastructure, mobs of people would remove the critical parts of the donkey and let the GOP keep the donkey scrotum for a tobacco pouch. One can only hope, though, since no one is better at circular firing squads than the conservative crowd.

they engage in petty, almost personal insults.

You're being too kind, I'd delete the "almost". The opinion reads like a prototype for arguments between conservatives and liberals. The conservatives lay out the facts, then reason from them, the liberals throw around a lot of verbage and snide comments, but don't offer much of substance in support. Mostly, the dissent is a long whine.

Another strike against the Dems. Now if we can just give the Dems an ass-whipping in these special elections, the victory will be complete.

IF ONLY the courts had done so with Prop 187 in CA we would still have a State!
Even (then Governor) GW Bush came out against that one...No surprise there.

There was a time when a left liberal, appointed to the bench, understood that not all of his desired (liberal) policy results could legitimately be achieved under existing law. But can you name any prominent jurists known pre-appointment as liberals, who went on to disappoint their liberal appont-ers?

Last one I can think of was Felix Frankfurter. But nowadays? Whatever liberal judges personally want, gosh, it turns out they’ll say the Constitution already requires it. What a coincidence!
