Two years ago, in June 2009, the American economy emerged from recession, according to the National Bureau of Economic Research. But as this week's Economist noted, with typical British understatement, "The recovery has been a disappointment."
And maybe not a recovery for long. Robert Shiller, the economist who first identified the housing bubble, said last week that we may be headed for recession again. "Whether we call it a double dip or not," he told Reuters, "there is a risk."
His Case/Shiller housing price index indicated that home prices in March slumped to levels not seen since March 2003, and Shiller says they may keep falling for 20 years.

BTW, it's no coincidence that Soros is trying to grab control of as much of the world's oil supply as he can.
The rest of the economy never stopped sucking muddy ditch water.
Soros and universities holding stock in Soros’s various enterprises buying up land in Africa for 18 cents an acre (after driving native Africans off....food supplies are important, too. Energy and food. Liberal elites depriving the African poor of land and ability to raise crops to feed themselves. May they roast in youknowwhere.

Looking at the pictures of the depression era, I never though in terms of the time frame it took to get to the place they eventually got to. Day by day things slowly get worse and worse and trying to believe their politicians that recovery was right around the corner promising their version of "hope and change" malarkey. Eventually many people were completely destroyed by not being aware of the things right in front of their noses.
The economic toilet been flushed we are swirling down the pipe, we are already over the edge, we have nowhere to go but down the yawning void of the unknown
