I would like to think that Mexico's equivalent of Attorney General is watching these hearings on CSPAN. If requested, Darrell Issa should give the Mexican officials all evidence of Fast & Furious.

AG Holder is not a elected official, so he is not exempted from the treaty.

This operation is what Obama meant when he said he was pursuing gun control “under the radar”.

That is the same thing which came to me when this story first broke.

This was Obama’s way to push gun control without it passing Congress which he knew he couldn’t do right now.

He would have waited for more stories about U.S. guns causing Mexican crime. Then he would have issued some illegal executive orders and had BATFE issue more regulations based on the “sporting purpose” part of GCA 1968.
