That’s the hard part: unlike pretty much all other historical US fedgov scandals, this one ranks very high on the federal crime scale. This isn’t another embarrassment or paperwork or procedure crime, and it’s not petty intrusion or some such. Someone very powerful is facing very serious jail time - and as such, they’re going to play hard and dirty to stay out of PMITA prison.
Issa better have a good insurance policy, and I don’t mean Allstate.
Maybe they can get Ken Starr. He sure took down that Clinton Crime Cartel.
Nothing more will come of this than throwing the ATF director under the bus. Have we not learned anything from the 1990s?

The GOP only got the nads to do this after Obama made way too many controversial holiday recess appointments. 2 he made this past Dec. while in Hawaii to make sure any further investigation of NBPGate would’nt get any light of day. I read the testimony online at the Civil Rights Committee web page and it was much more than a black guy standing at a voting place.
So maybe they will not give the votes for a new commiecrat AG at DOJ and they will make sure Obama won’t sneak him/her in; as they just did Obama’s last holiday.
There is no way in hell that Holder would have agreed with the operation without Obama being in the loop.

Thank you! I would love to know what they are waiting for. It seems clear the goal of Justice has been to slow Issa down and drag it out. They have no intention of assisting him because they know what will happen once the truth comes to light.

What was done in Gunwalker was contrary to how ATF operates on every level. The agents themselves were worried and complaining and testified how out of the norm it was.
No agency head would dare change policy like this without going through the Attorney generals office. And no Assistant Attorney general woudl make the career mistake of authorizing it without going straight to the top.
Holder would not have made such a decision of allowing guns to walk to Mexico a foreign nation without approval from Obama since this was a matter of national security and international interest.
I imagine that DHS is also well in the loop on this since they ordered the boarder patrol to stand down on detaining illegals at the boarder. Napolitano, Holder, Melson and Obama ALL had to be in the loop and Issa needs to continue his investigation until EVERYONE who knew and did nothing to stop this, aided or ordered it to be carried out is in jail.
Brian terry’s family deserves nothing less. Not to mention the 60-80 Mexican officers killed, and the dozens if not hundreds of Mexican citizens that were killed or injured because of this. Let us not forget that many of the guns did not walk across the boarder, but will be used right here in the United States against American citizens by drug cartels.
This was an act of treason, they aided Narco terrorists, who are also working with Al-qaeda.

Mr. Issa deserves a lot of credit and we need to make sure that he can continue his job. It needs support in media, the population and the voting booth.
Issa is from CA where they routinely re-district Republican Congressmen out of their Districts. I hope that Issa is not vulnerable to Brown’s machinations.

Congress legislates against the EPA? No problem, ignore it and issue executive orders.
