I think he’ll be a great asset.

Let’s see how they measure up!

Thanks for the ping.

Yeah, well, at least he wasn’t endorsing a pro-child-killing, pro-homosexual leftist for president in that picture like he was in the one I posted.

He blocked the campaign for a TX high court judge with robo calls. This judge was deemed too conservative I.e. He was against instate tuition rates for illegals ,hate crimes laws and racial quotas. This is just one item...I really hope people research him big time!

If he can beat Obama, I’m in.

The kid bagging groceries at the local supermarket could beat Obama if he campaigned as a conservative Republican. Obama is weak and as much as the MSM try to pretend he's almost inevitable for a second term, he is far from it. He's got blacks, welfare types, a majority of Latinos, and all the hardcore liberals who have nowhere else to go. That's about it. They add up to, perhaps, 30% of the voters, if that. The white, middle class 'affirmative action' voters are mostly disenchanted by now and they won't feel a need to 'prove' they're not 'racist' by voting for Obama, which is why the Republican candidate will have to fight the 'racist' tag the left will instantly try to hang on them. Obama's 'historic' designation has passed and now Obama has to defend his abysmal record and he cannot, although he'll have to try, mostly by lying, which is nothing new. I believe that whomever receives the Republican nomination will be the next president and I don't wish to have it be another big government, Democrat-Lite. Rick Perry has some appeal but not for me, thanks. I want a conservative. Her name is Sarah Palin. If Palin doesn't run, I'll probably go with Michelle Bachmann. but I won't be voting for Rick Perry.

Reagan was a Democrat too, you'll have to find another talking point to try and derail a Perry Presidency.

The law firm represented several of the entities involved in Texas Trans Corridor. Yes, that is a bad idea and shame on Perry.

But law firms do what law firms do. There is no secrecy around the fact that that law firm worked on the project. That is not a big deal, at all.

Are you suggesting that the law firm pays kickbacks to the sitting Governor? Or that Perry has a business interest in one of the Texas Trans Corridor entities?

This leads me to believe that Sarah is not running. I could be wrong but that’s my guess for now.

I called a Perry ticket waaaay back in ‘08

Right after he attended the Bilderberg Conference in Istanbul Turkey in 2007.

After the Controlled Media pushed McCain on us in 2008, the NWO was already lining up the next GOP sock puppet. Now he's ready for his turn.

“That said....I would rather keep him as governor and vote for Palin, West, Cain or Bachmann for president!”

I would vote for a ticket made up of any combination of those you listed. However, at this moment, and it may change, I kinda like Perry for President with Bachmann as his running mate for VP.

But, I am a 4th generation Texan so I am aware of Perry's strengths and weakness. I would be interested in learning how non-Texans feel about Perry. Do you think he's “too Texian”? Or, do you think he has the right package for the big show?

I wish I was as confident as you. I want a conservative to win, but I do not want to take a chance on someone who might lose. We cannot survive another four years of Obama.

I never suggested, inferred, implied or even thought any such thing. But now that YOU brought it up, why don’t you educate us on these allegations between Rick and Rudy?

I will infer this, however: I sense you dislike the close ties between Rick Perry and Rudy Giulini. Why is that? Are you a closet Rudy supporter?

Look. I am on the fence about my governor. If nobody better runs, then yeah. I’ll support him. But he does carry some baggage.

By the way, I also think that Perry and Giuliani have a political alliance, and I have already posted twice that I think Perry would put Giuliani on the ticket.

I am not advocating that...merely predicting. But that is the normal stuff of politics.

You are suggesting something far more sinister, indeed, criminal. And I am not aware of any evidence that Perry is profiting personally from the work of TTC, or the work of Giuliani’s firm in that regard. Obviously if that were to come out, Perry would not only get knocked out of the race, but land in prison....

Rick Perry, A Moderate’s Conservative

http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/06/rick_perry_a_moderates_conservative.html

Excerpts...

Perry, as was Bush before him and Romney is today, is a slick, chameleon politician who changes his colors for the times. Rick Perry is a former Democrat, Al Gore’s state chairman in 1988, a big government type who used an executive order to try to force Texas children entering 6th grade to be injected with Gardasil, a drug to prevent sexually transmitted diseases. Mandated — sound conservative to you?

Any concerns on illegal immigration? Maybe you feel open borders are a problem? Well, Rick Perry has quite an answer for you. His signature legislation was the Trans-Texas Corridor, where Texas would use its eminent domain to take a mile-wide swath of land from the Texas border to the Oklahoma border and turn it over to a Spanish company for a highway, rail corridor. And, anyone from Mexico could travel into Texas, with no customs check until they hit Kansas.

The Texas Governor’s office is among the weakest in the country. The Texas Governor does not do much — so the massive success Texas has shown in job creation does not come from Rick Perry, but from the people here who live their lives and run their businesses, conservatively. They elect a conservative legislature that passes conservative laws. That conservative legislature overrules Rick Perry.

Well, you said they are business partners (after noting that they aren’t law partners).

Partnership is a legal concept that implies shared profits and losses.

If you just meant, “allies” or something like that, then, well, that is clear enough. They do seem to be allies.
