ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Gay marriage will become legal in New York state after the Republican-led state Senate voted to approve it. Advocates are calling it a historic step as New York stands to become the sixth but by far the largest state to legalize same-sex marriage.
Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo lobbied hard for the bill and has promised to sign it.
The Senate vote is viewed as a major gain in an effort to allow gay marriage nationally.

I don't know who these trolls are. I took him at his word when he claimed he thought he was a "gay Christian" and decided that I should provide him with a little religious instruction. I also thought that it would be important to share that instruction with other freepers so they would know how to respond to these claims of being "gay Christians" or other such nonsense.
I don't mind my posts being taken down, but I was accused of "actively promoting the homosexual agenda" by posting my response. I don't see it that way. I also don't see why we should have to temper our free speech here simply because it might give an ego boost to some perverted troll.
Sorry to have brought you into this spat. If you don't want us to post our responses to freep mail trolls, then I will abide by your decision. But I do disagree with your reasoning.

I got it too...just home from work. These perverts leaving their stench all over FR...the perverts haven’t a clue the good people of their state are already at work to turn this ‘thing’ back around.
Can’t get over their total lack of maturity....supporting perverts is as if they are one IMO.

1.) Every Catholic in New York needs to petition their Bishop — and the Pope — to have excommunicated any Catholic who voted to instate this abomination. In particular, you MUST target Governor Cuomo.
2.) Every American, not presently a resident in one of the states that has imposed this absurdity, must contact your state representatives to enact legislation that outlaws this practice, and ALSO refuses to recognize any of these “unions” authorized by other states.
3.) Be prepared to use armed force, if necessary, to prevent this from coming to your state.
4.) The reprobate homosexuals have declared war on civilization ... we must respond in kind. Stop them, by any means available, before they exterminate civilization.
This is a life and death struggle. Act accordingly.
Am opposed to moral relativism which you apparently are not. There are absolutes and it makes not one iotta difference if someone believes it or not....the standards have been established. Change those standards then who decides what is acceptable or not? There has to be a ppoint of reference.....”each man going his own way will kill a society”....History attests to that.
...and they will rush to do so as long as this door is now open... and the legislators will lay down the red carpet as they enter. The "rights" of the majority will be their sacrificial cow.
