Do Conservatives REALLY want Rick Perry to Run? - Vanity
June 25, 2011 | no dems

Rick Perry:
1. He has done his best to sell Texas' private land to Foreign interests for the I-35 Corridor project which is sometimes called the NAFTA Super highway.

2. He also forced Texas teenage girls, by "Executive Order" to get the HPV vaccine.

3. He supports the IPPF ( International Planned Parenthood Federation). He received much praise from the Democrats for this action, and was demonized by the states Republicans for that choice.

4. Perry also receive a BIG THANK YOU from the Mexican President Vicente Fox for his "Sanctuary Citys" and giving Illegal Immigrants FREE instate tuition to Texas Universities. http://www.youtube.com/watch?f... .

So, If you want to compare Texas to the nation in the 2012 Election (because Texas is a success story right now), then run a TRUE Conservative who is the “most powerful person in Texas politics”, the Lieutenant Governor, David Dewhurst.

The only reason Rick Perry stays in office is because Texas is a Red State and he never has a strong opponent.

Just make sure you spell her name correctly when you WRITE (not “right”) her in, OK? Otherwise, your vote won’t count.

I have to do some more digging into the information highway to find out why Rick Perry appears so liberal. I saw him on Gretta Van Susteren’s show talking about the border problem. He was absolutely furious that the Obama Regime was not giving him the resources to shut down the border. He has asked to talk directly to Obama and has been given the shaft. Whatever Texas is able to do on the border, Texas has done by itself with the minimal of federal aid. He wants the illegals to fix their own problem by making it so tough for them to stay here that they will leave on their own resources. No free bus rides from Amarillo to Mexico.

Doesn't matter what he does. Nobody cares.

It belongs to Sarah, whether you think it's fair or not.

Personally, also being from Texas, my ticket is Palin/Rubio.

I like Cain, I like Bachmann, I even like Santorum BUT, I really believe in Palin/Rubio as the ticket with the most conservative cajones.

That said, however, I'll take Perry (and/or whomever) over OBozo. Like Rush says; 'even Elmer Fudd can kick OBozo's arse!!'

Again, you’ll have to take the case up with Rush why he dropped Perry’s name out there.

Prior to early May, Rick Perry had no intention of running for President. Then, out of the blue, Rush Limbaugh drops his name on Greta Van Sustern as his “Dream Candidate”. Ever since then, Perry’s paid attention, assuming his entry and Rush’s kind words will tap into that 20 million listener base.

I don’t know why Rush picked Perry. Even as recent as last week, Rush admitted that Perry wasn’t clean with some issues (Dream Act, etc) that voters would have to “get over”.

The only thing I can think of is that Rush is trying to one-up the Establishment GOP. He’s been taking it from them about how he doesn’t have any power anymore because he wasn’t able to stop McCain from getting the nomination, so they consider Rush irrelevant. So I think Rush through out Perry and projected the hoopla that would follow his entry. I think he did this over Palin, because it can be argued that when Palin gets in, she didn’t/wouldn’t need Rush’s direct support, and so Rush couldn’t take credit for steering the GOP nomination towards her (Sarah would do that in her own right). Rick Perry, though, would need a boost.

Just my theory.

How about Perry being honest enough... Perry kept pushing the TTC down Texans throats after years of Texas voters Screaming NO NO NO NO... Why were they screaming no? Because Perry would get a lucrative secret deal with the (forced upon us Spanish contractor)... In addition this TTC fiasco would have by force taken millions of acres of prime land from Texas land owners -— just to profit the power hungry Perry...

I’d vote for an orange juice can over what we’ve got in there now.

And the last two "orange juice cans" we nominated (Dole and McCain) got their butts handed to them on Election Day. Well, I think Dole is Pineapple Juice.
