Vanity: GOP Needs Rubio on the Ticket in '12. Is He Eligible?
June 29, 2011 | no dems

The GOP needs Marco Rubio on the Ticket in 2012 as VP. If we do not carry Florida and if we do not take some of the Hispanic vote away from Obama nation-wide, he might very well be reelected. We need enough votes to prevent the Chicago Thug-style Politics from stealing the Election. Don't think it can't happen. Remember how the Kennedys stole the 1960 Election from Nixon.

The Question then arises: IS MARCO RUBIO CONSTITUTIONALLY ELIGIBLE? The answer is emphatically YES! So is Bobby Jindal. There are many authorities I could cite but I'll use one to conserve space and prevent boring you.

In "A view of the Constitution of the United States of America" By William Rawle (Page 80) it states: “….every person born within the United States, its territories or districts, whether the parents are citizens or aliens, is a natural born citizen in the sense of The Constitution, and entitled to all the rights and privileges appertaining to that capacity….”

Marco Rubio was born in Miami, FL; Bobby Jindal was born in Baton Rouge, LA. The issue is closed.

We don’t need Rubio on the ticket in 2012.

The guy has all of five months of political experience outside of the FL house of representatives—whether or not he’s a natural born citizen.

Do you want us to be even worse affirmative action promoters than the Democrats were with Obama?

By November 2012, he will have 22 Months in the U.S. Senate. Let’s see, that’s 22 Months more than Herman Cain will have. Affirmative Action has nothing to do with it; it’s called “politics”. We can keep putting crusty, old, white men on the ticket (like McCain and Dole) and keep getting our butts handed to us every 4 years. Wake up and smell the coffee; the 2012 Election will NOT be determined by the Independents. It will be determined by the Hispanic vote. It was the Hispanic vote that put Harry Reid back in the Senate for 6 more years.

BTW, WHO IS YOUR CHOICE FOR VP?

Why will the election be determined by the 7% Hispanic vote and not the other 93% of the electorate?

Palin, who would be the candidate with the best chance to win, is herself youngish and will do just fine with a white guy on her ticket if that’s who she chooses.

Absolutely! At the time in history when America is waking up to the problems given to us by the pandering of the left and the TEA party is calling for strong, conservative candidates we should definitely start a pander program of our own!

Do I need a sarcasm tag?

Look, most elections today are decided with 60% voter participation. Why? Because a significant number of Americans think their vote doesn't really matter... choosing the lesser of two evils is still choosing evil. You want to win? Put up a strong conservative America's heartland can vote FOR... don't pander to MSM stereotypes or moderate the message for the mushy middle and hope the opponent is bad enough to be voted against.

Actually, the Hispanic vote in 2008 was 9% of the total vote. If you think that's not enough to change the Election; check this out:
Hispanics Provided The Margin of Victory in These Four States in 2008 - In Colorado, Obama’s Hispanic support accounted for 12.4% of the electorate, while Obama only won by 7%. In Florida, Obama’s Hispanic support accounted for 7.9% of the electorate, while Obama only won by 2%. In Nevada, Obama’s Hispanic support accounted for 12.4% of the electorate, while Obama only won by 12%. In New Mexico, Obama’s Hispanic support accounted for 28.3% of the electorate, while Obama only won by 15%.

Now, what were you saying?

This has caused me to do a “little” bit of thinking:), I assume that any candidate for President or vice president would be vetted by congress and the press (with the exception of Obama)to confirm eligibility. But, third in line is speaker of the house and there is not a birth requirement to be a member of the house, or speaker for that matter. So, if we should ever have to go to the third in line and that person should happen to not be a native born citizen, then would we just skip to the fourth in line, etc, etc? Maybe The Speaker should have to meet presidental requirements concerning birth?

Well, let me say this, at the risk of boring you even more:

If the GOP does not carry Florida, we will not occupy the White House in January 2013. Marco Rubio would guarantee that we carry Florida.
