When Glenn Beck ventured out with his wife and daughter to catch a Hitchcock flick in New York City’s Bryant Park, the event “turned into a hostile free-for-all,” according to his Web site.
He and his family weathered verbal abuses and slurs against conservatives, and an angry moviegoer even kicked a glass of wine onto his wife, Beck said in a video on his site.
“These people were some of the most hateful people I’ve ever seen,” he said. “I swear to you I think, if I had suggested, and I almost did, ‘Wow, does anybody have a rope? Because there’s a tree here. You could just lynch me,’ and I think there would have been a couple in the crowd that would have.”

Glenn mentioned that his security didn’t say a word to the moonbats. “That’s their training,” Glenn said on his radio show. “It only would have escalated the situation if my security detail had gotten into a shouting match.”
I’m sure Glenn’s security would have taken direct action if any of the lefties had actually laid a hand on Glenn, his wife or his kids.
If it’s “The Big Apple” and I’m Glenn Beck I stay the he** OUT OF THE PARK! Life’s full of trade-offs. Along with being famous; and ESPECIALLY famous for undressing commie-libs, comes giving up the freedom to traipse around nonchallantly anywhere you wish and not be noticed or confronted.
Maybe he needs to hire Patti LaBelle’s security detail.....
i am not advocating what happened and i think anything that happened to his family is despicable but lets be completely honest- how many here would not go up and spit in george soros’ face if we saw him?? would not get in the face of keith olbermann if we had the chance???
Olbermann, on the other hand, is little more than a village idiot. His stupidity and that of those who tune in to him are to be pitied. I think he would enjoy a get in his face encounter.
They have both sown their oats and are simply awaiting the harvest.
Time for GB to hire a security detail. He should be able to afford it.
