Well, regardless of what she meant, that’s not what she said. And I believe what she said was meant to deceive.
One thing that was never really stressed in the TTC concept was this was a long term plan spanning 50 years and did encompass more than just the north/south initial phases that got all the press. I think it also included some sections that were rail or secondary roads in the 4000 miles.
Here is a study that discusses the project in it’s entirety and at the bottom is a map showing all the proposed routes.

I agree with you entirely on the need for roadway upgrades/expansion in Texas. Texas is behind the curve on new roadways, money isn’t there and things are only get worse before they ever get any better.
uh...the evil of Soros has little to do with New World Order theories attributed to the Bilderbergers, CFR, etc....
Thanks, it is about time some of these Freepers see the truth about this turd.
Thank you.
I just want to run somebody who can win this thing, and I see nothing gained by the character assassination of one of our most promising Conservatives.
The vicious left is perfectly capable of that without our help.
You are disputing the judgement of Palin, Rush, Nugent and Michael Reagan?
>Sarah Palin threw her endorsement to Rick Perry for governor-. She recently restated that she likes Perry.
>Rush said that Perry is his dream candidate. http://gretawire.blogs.foxnews.com/rush-limbaugh-on-the-record-3/
>Michael Reagan praises Perry:
If you dont believe Reaganomics can still work in this day and age, for whatever reason, I say you should look no further than the state of Texas.
Under the leadership of Gov. Rick Perry, Texas has championed and built upon the concepts my father used to rebuild America in the 1980s..
In short, Reagan Revolution is alive and well - deep in the heart of Texas.

>Ted Nugent is a close friend and supporter
You are disputing the judgement of dozens of Perry’s fellow politicians and scholars?
Read the official statements of dozens of Perrys fellow politicians and scholars (both Democrats and Republicans) have had to say about Rick Perry: http://www.politico.com/arena/archive/rick-perry-for-president-in-2012.html
All (including Democrat opponents) have called him a staunch Conservative, and not one of the dozens issuing opinions has mentioned the vaccine or TTC.
Apparently they dont consider these things an issue. They DID mention Perry threatening to secede from the unionas a strike against him.
What Perry actually said; You know, my hope is that America and Washington in particular pays attention, Perry continued. Weve got a great union. There is absolutely no reason to dissolve it. But if Washington continues to thumb their nose at the American people, you know, who knows what may come out of that? So. But Texas is a very unique place and were a pretty independent lot to boot.
You do not trust the opinions of our Conservative icons?
Not reasonable.
We have to run someone capable of winning this thing.
As much as we love our Palin, Backmann and Cain, they simply cannot win.
We must run someone with a proven solid record and cross-over appeal. Even with all his faults, that someone is Rick Perry.
They all have their faults.
There is no perfect Conservative candidate.
Never has been.
Never will be.
We are forced to choose the best of the lot.
That’s just the way it is.

Pure bunk. Facts are wrong - start with the utter inaccuracies quoted about Gardasil: it covers 4 (not “ 2 - 3”) strains, and most of the * hundred or so strains neither infect the genetalia nor cause cellular/nuclear changes leading to cervical cancer.
Second, I know and love Terry Hall, but she goes off the deep end on toll roads. She opposed the solid-gold Marine and Conservative Rep.Frank Corte, knocking the staunchest defender of life, marriage, and small government in our Legislature. She supported other pro-aborts because of their toll road votes. I support most of her cause, testified with her this year, but life always trumps toll roads. Always.
The “watered down” language” that Truther-Alex Jones and other hotheads have gone ballistic over was the product of our Attorney General, Greg Abbott. People who use TSA as an accusation are attacking Abbott, an unassailable Conservative legal scholar, not the Governor.
?Source? If that’s thevsilly Ron Paul questionnaire, it is loaded bunk. If you support pro-life and pro-marriage laws (which Perry unquestioningly does), you come out authoritarian, right conservative.

“About two dozen people showed up to testify in support of the bill in the Senate Committee on Transportation and Homeland Security, then opposed it when they learned the bill was going to be changed on the recommendation of Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, a Republican.”
Texas and Perry are conservative, not libertarian, much to the chagrin of many of the anti-Perry posters here.
For example, here are five for comparison:
Jim DeMint is a Hard-Core Conservative.
Chris Christie is a Moderate Populist Conservative.
Sarah Palin is a Populist-Leaning Conservative.
Michele Bachmann is a Moderate Conservative.
Susan Collins is a Centrist.
Personally, I would have ranked Collins (and Snowe, who looks slightly more conservative than Christie) further to the left and down; I'm not positive how "Populist" and "Libertarian" end up on opposite sides, rather than "Authoritarian" or "Statist". I think it simply doesn't rank statism very well at all.
But the nice thing is that they have all sorts of quotes and references for each politician for the range of subjects they rank, so you can check out what they actually have said and done, and decide for yourself what that makes them in your eyes.
The website is On The Issues, and has most politicians I've tried to find. (Paul Ryan is a Hard-Core conservative, Herman Cain is a libertarian-leaning conservative, etc.)
Don't give me all this horse shit about killing the messenger, she's just repeating old news that I myself brought up 4 or 5 years ago.
I'm guessing, judging from the vitriol toward Gov. Perry, that if he's named the nominee, there will be lots of crow to swallow around here.
In the mean time, ya’ll have fun squabbling.
http://governorpalin4president.blogspot.com/2010/02/video-sarah-palin-campaigns-for.html
Unless she's getting paid to play, she knows something about him that others seem to overlook on this thread.
You are supposed to be asleep.
The next president has not yet entered the race, whether or not Palin runs, I just know it will not be any of those currently running.
You do know Palin campaigned for McCain during the last U.S. Senate race over in Arizona, right? What's your point? Apperently the tagline of Rick Perry is supporters is "nobody's perfect, except Sarah Palin's endorsements"
The poster I was replying to likes Sarah but was uninformed about Perry. That’s why I mentioned that.
Do you want to try again with the last sentence?
Check the post....that admonishment was to “Gary”....
