During the late 80s and the 90s, there were many tiny little mentions in papers of individuals or 2 or 3 people being hunted down in middle America and killed in shoot outs, and of course the house, or building always burnt to the ground, my brother is a compulsive reader like me, and saw those little 2 inch mentions also, it was puzzling and troubling, and of course a mystery, they seemed to be related to taxes, or “right wing” politics, but it was never explained well, and there was almost never a survivor to interview.
When I moved to the upper Mid West during that period, whenever I was around some beer drinking, conservative, good old boys, I would try to ask them what was going on with those under reported stories, and it seemed to me that they were afraid of the topic, I am convinced that I saw fear and fearful confusion in that region.
It looked to me as though having taken total control of the big cities, and the coasts, that the federal government wanted to send a message to middle America, ‘that we are here too, and we will squash this talk radio, gun owning, conservative fight back, and here are the cut off heads of your neighbors to show that our power is geographically total.
It seemed that after OK city and Waco, and Ruby Ridge, as state legislators started fighting back, that the Federal Government backed off, and all those little, mysterious, shoot outs (with the scene burning to the ground), ended as well.
OKC-Bombing FYI noteworthy ping
islamist operation
Your comments were extraordinarily insightful and appreciated. For me, Waco was the turning point. Having seen the lies propaganda, and violence FedGov was willing to employ up close and personal, I realized that this really wasn't the country I'd grown up loving as a child and young man, and that it probably had not been since before my lifetime.
I've learned that when anything really big happens, to watch for the 'tells' that always seem to accompany these events. One of many in the OKC event was that the governor of the state "found" the axle with the serial number that linked it to the truck. We're supposed to just accept whatever FedGov feeds us without question no matter how improbable what they are telling is us. If you express skepticism or cognitive dissonance with what you are being asked to swallow, you're ridiculed as a nutjob.
IMO, at best, OKC was an example of an FBI sting operation gone horribly wrong. At worst it was a case of domestic terrorism for partisan political gain. Either is a pretty damning indictment of the state of our current political system.
Now, lest one be tempted to express some kind of partisan indignation towards democrats concerning the coverup of what actually occurred at OKC, it would be wise to keep in mind that President Bush had 8 years to Bring the facts to light, and perpetrators to justice, yet he did nothing. FedGov and the political class always protect their own. Further, I would ask your attention to be brought briefly back to the days immediately following 9/11, and recall that FedGov reported discovering Mohammed Atta's passport amongst the debris in the towers just days if not hours (I can't recall the exact timeline), after the attack. Of course, to even mention such a thing means you're one of the loony 'truthers', not that you're just expressing an honest 'WTF?' about insanely improbable events.
Sadly, we've become pre-programmed obedient sheep, that can't question the actions and motivations of those who hold an inordinate amount of power over us, largely because if we really were to admit to ourselves exactly how things truly are, we'd have to rethink our pledge of allegiance and perhaps many other things.
Video recordings is one thing that today’s law enforcement should not be permitted to touch in any form or fashion. For whatever reason, their “How to handle evidence” course when it pertains to videos just didn’t penetrate deeply enough for retention.
I cannot help but think of 9/11 and the Pentagon. 1 1/2 seconds of the sorriest video is displayed as evidence.
If I was this judge I would be tempted to bring in every retired agent who ever worked on this case that I could find for testimony. Start seeing if you can’t get somebody on perjury.
A little dose of their own medicine would be good for them

Can’t have anyone rethinking their loyalties, can we? Might raise some new questions and put somebody in prison.
I dont’ have it either. Man, it’s been a year or so since I spoke to her. Jayna had the story and the truth nailed but those with something to lose built a brick wall in the way.
What happened to the arrest in Quincy, Mass., of John Doe #1 less than a year ago?
The FBI couldn't because the CIA had them. Their guys in FBI jackets grabbed them.
