It used to work wonders with us when we were kids. Boy, did we resume good behavior—and quick!

Did anyone see the interviews with Tim Miller of Texas Equisearch with Nancy Grance? He said that the worst mistake he ever made was agreeing to go down to Florida to search for Caylee. He got there the 4th day after it was determined she was missing. He said that after being there only 10 minutes that he was introduced to Casey and Baez showed up shortly thereafter to tell him to do anything he could to find Caylee but not to ask his client (Casey) any questions about her daughter - Casey went to her room and did not speak to him.

He said that Cindy kept talking about how this was all political and the DA was up for re-election and wanted a big case to make a name for himself.

A friend of George's was also there and Tim asked him how George was doing and the friend said not so well. Tim also said that the friend said in a voice loud enough for Casey to hear that he knows the answers are in that bedroom and she's not talking.

In a second segment, Tim Miller said that he laid out a map and asked where they should start looking and that George went and got Casey, brought her into the room and told her to tell them where to start looking. Casey gave them nothing.

Tim Miller said that they were there for 4 days and pulled out. He said that they expended a lot of resources ($112,000) and time and he said by the time he left he was sure that George and Cindy knew for a fact that Caylee was dead. You could tell that Mr. Miller was disgusted by what he saw and heard in the Anthony household for the period of time he was there.

Yeh...I had my third kid at 10 minutes before midnight. Had to pay for him for the whole day....$20. Tried to get them to pro-rate it.

My friend is a Brit. Like most Brits I know, his cynicism is palpable. Very different from our American guile. Cynicism and conspiracy theories go hand in hand.

OMG! You are so right.

I’m at the part now where Baez is going on at great length about how no instances of child abuse were ever presented in the court.

So in summary:

Except for chlorophorming her daughter, suffocating her with duct tape in the trunk of a car, and heaving her lifeless body out into a swamp, Casey was one HECK of a great mom!

I wasn’t watching, so thanks for the synopsis. I’ve seen some here talking about it—sounds like I missed a real bombshell. Pity it wasn’t included in the prosecution’s case. Would have been nice for the jury to have known this.

I missed the interview but I find these facts deeply, deeply disturbing. Strange household.

Very revealing. Tim and his volunteers would have found Caylee, had they pressed on. (They are not afraid of rattlesnakes, and have searched everything from swamps to garbage dumps.)

Perhaps the Anthonys did not want Caylee to be found at all, ever.

Thanks to Roy Kronk, their deluded and dysfunctional efforts to save their “Bad Seed” failed.

“In all the publicity about this case, I have never heard about how Casey has been supporting herself the years of Caylee’s short life. She did NOT have a job”

I’ve been wondering the same thing for weeks!

I think that’s exactly what was happening: Cindy, especially, did not want anyone to uncover what a monster her daughter was. She’d just lost her granddaughter, and now she wanted to hang onto her daughter, despite the fact that she is a cold blooded killer.

“Woman wants to go out partying, can’t get anybody to babysit, goes out anyway, places baby in trunk, ties baby up and duct tapes baby’s mouth shut so nobody hears the ruckus in the trunk while Mom is inside the Club partying”

I would add: Has been doing this for two years with approval of clueless enabling grandparents.

Baby getting old enough to say “Mommy gave me medicine and put me in the trunk.”

Baby must be silenced forever.

I see Casey’s pathology pretty reflective of our culture today. I buy into the suggestion of a faith column I read that we are in an era of “cultural narcissism”. Regretfully, we are all affected by it. Religious practices, churches, our schools, from tots to PHD’s have been subverted to the feel good experiences, esteem, basically, the “I’m okay, you’re okay” philosophy of the 60’s.

To the point of Casey, a circumstantial case looks like to me a “reasonable doubt” situation every time, so I don’t believe she will get the ultimate penalty. It looks like felony murder (death by abusive act)to me is the answer, if you believe the chloroform was used. But this could be a hung jury and cause for a new trial. Can you believe it? !!! In any case, phase two is the supreme court. The verdict seems to be only the beginning of the next phase(s).

Tim Miller said he told the OC sheriff that he did not want to walk through the flooded area because he feared that a horse, atv or a volunteer might step on the remains while they were underwater and disturb the scene. They pulled out before the flooded area went dry and it was exactly the area where little Caylee's remains were found.

Mr. Miller and his group are well respected and you could tell that he was just sick over the fact that their time was wasted due to no cooperation from Casey and the fact that they put searches for others who had missing loved ones on hold to look for this little girl.

You’ll have to watch for the part where JB points a finger at Mr. Aston and says something like, “or are you going to believe that laughing man right there!” Then Asthon yells objection and while he’s still talking the judge says sustained and come to the sidebar. Fireworks!

I saw that - the look on Tim Miller’s face told it all! For a man to devote his life to helping find missing people - knowing every single day is so sad and stressful - to realize you were wasting your time, energy and resources like that had to be so maddening!

Prolly both of you are right; makes it intentional instead of recklessly, rottenly, negligent. Guess I don’t want to think any human can be THAT evil.
