The Birther Card game continues, with Obama's long-form birth certificate on top of the pot and "Made in the USA" coffee mugs around the table.
Watching the match unfold leads me to agree with Donald Trump: lots of smart people are birthers, and they don't like the way the game has been played. I suspect most Americans do not appreciate the fact that the issue has been played as a game at all -- both by the mainstream media and the President himself.
If polled the usual question: "Do you believe Obama was born in Hawaii?" -- Obama's behavior would provoke me (even though I do believe he was) to answer, "Beats me!" (I plan on wearing my Obama "Made in the USA" t-shirt so they won't ask.) Regardless, even a "Yes" response, if not followed with denouncements of all doubters, may still earn a Republican the label of racist birther.

Be more specific. Are you referring to his cabal of non-elected Czars? The implementation of his agenda through bureacratic fiat? His overtaking of a private manufacturing organization? Oh, wait. You're talking about the Birth Certificate thing.
All else is irrelevant and meaningless in comparison. The media, pundits, and congress has trampled on the constitution for expediency and political correctness!
Now THERE'S something new under the sun.
Oh, except for the cabal of Czars, the taking over of GM, using The EPA to implement his Green Agenda. But I repeat myself. There are 100 reasons to oppose this guy and defeat him in 2012. If we can't even defeat him on his shredding of The Constitution he's undertaken since he took office, what good does it do to get our panties all bundled up over the Birth Certificate thing?
It just gives the aforementioned media, pundits, and Congress cover.
I have no use for Ann Coulter or any of the other folks who refuse to acknowledge that the rule of law matters.
I wonder why WSJ, FOXNews, National Review, Weekly Standard, Andrew Breitbart, et al haven’t dug up proof that this is a fake?

Nah... I'm gonna stick with the rest of the birthers and belive in the widest spread conspiracy in the history of humanity. Plus, I've decided that even if Obama himself personally presented the B/C to me, I'd still find a higher level of proof in order to satisfy me. I'm just logical that way.
i predict that, if the Republicans put Marco Rubio or Bobby Jindal on a national ticket and it looks like the Republicans will win, the media will say that the candidate is not natural born. The Obama situation will be explained away by evidence that someone else - probably Frank Marshall Davis - was Obama’s biological father and claims that “this is a private matter” that should not be questioned. or some such nonsense.
I hope I am wrong. But such rhetorical gymnastics have been performed before. Ask 100 liberals if a person who committed felonies while in office should be allowed to remain President, and most if not all will say no. Then bring up Bill Clinton and watch them sputter and change their tune.

Not tools but afraid. Look how Obama goes after Fox news. And gets away with it. Despite the First Amendment. BEFORE he was elected he had teams of lawyers threatening people. And there was a story back then from an anonymous source that the source and his family had been threatened. By Obama thugs. Obama has powerful backers that are hidden. He didn't become President accidentally.

It doesn’t matter IF he was born in HI...he listed his Father who was a British subject...therefore, Zero is not eligible to be in the WH...he is an illegal alien on top of that...an enemy agent...working to destroy America.
It has nothing to do with thick skin and everything to do with "admiring" someone who insults one. I don't "admire" anyone who resorts to name calling. It's not necessary. "I disagree" is short and concise. "Cranks" is an alienator.

Well as to Breitbart he’s a left coast conservative. Is he conservative? As much as he can be in his environment. However I disagree with his stand on homosexuals. He may do good things but he also backs some very destructive stands.

Well...Some things are deal killers. Coulter verbally punched Article 2, Section 1 of the ***CONSTITUTION*** in the nose. That's a deal killer.
