....There has never been in my lifetime, since we got rid of the poll tax and all the Jim Crow burdens on voting, the determined effort to limit the franchise that we see today, Clinton added.
Clinton mentioned Florida Gov. Rick Scotts move in March to overturn past state precedent including under former GOP governors that allows convicted felons to vote once theyve served theyve finished probation periods.

Someone should ask Clinton if he feels the same way about restoring ex-felon’s 2nd Amendment rights.

American Idol auditions started today in San Diego. Local radio reported you must have ID, be a citizen or legal resident authorized to work in the U.S.
ID for voting? Jim Crow.
No vote for felons? Jim Crow.
To: Jacquerie
First the ex-felons, then the current felons. If there was any suspicion that these people were the slightest bit inclined to vote conservative, Clinton and the others would be gone on the issue.
Coming soon, after the franchise is extended to ex-felons: Overturning convictions in exchange for votes. Calling all liberal judges.

The Dems are getting desperate. Obama is fading away so fast he is almost invisible.

Should a citizen get their right to vote back after they have finished their debt to society?Yes, of course he should.
And how many of 'em will actually go out and vote anyway?

If the DEMS want to be known as the Felon-Vote Party, then we should make EVERY effort to let the public know that.

Every time a liberal democrat wants to restore voting rights to convicted felons, they should have to explain why these felons should be trusted with the vote if they cannot be trusted with 2nd Amendment rights.
I think I would actually be more inclined to restore their 2nd Amendment rights before their voting rights.

well see...if you've committed a felony against your fellow Floridians...you, as said felon, must be prepared to make certian sacrifices in expiation of your feloniousness.....the citizenry want ...shared sacrifice.....after all, didn't we fed the felon, clothe the felon and even air-condition the felon during his stay as our guest? why yes we did, we did indeed and at great taxpayer cost ....so, i for one, feel good about some eeentsy weeentseee bit of inconvenience we as his benefactors can visit upon the haid of the aforementioned felon...... expiation is the name of the game....therefore it is with great ELATION that i stand in with the in crowd who deign to deny every felon the chance to vote democrat now and in perpetuity...call me crazy but....it is what it is....i yield the balance of my time...

On top of it all, the governorship is Scott's first political office. He previously headed up an evil healthcare insurance company.
