A subpoena has been served on officials in the Hawaii Department of Health and the state's attorney general demanding access to the original "1961 typewritten birth certificate #10641 for Barack Obama."
The attorney behind the case, Orly Taitz, told WND she is asking a court to compel compliance.
The California attorney contends the state's "privacy" regulations should be ignored, as Obama already has released what the White House purported to be a copy of the document to the public.
She has developed a case in Washington, D.C., seeking the original application for Obama's Social Security number, a document that could provide significant information about the president's early life that relates to his eligibility.
U.S. District Court Chief Judge Royce Lamberth recently rejected a defense concern over procedure in the dispute. Taitz said that moved the case into the discovery phase, in which she can issue subpoenas to those holding documentation she is seeking.
WND previously has reported on the issue that Obama holds a Connecticut-based Social Security number despite allegedly being born in Hawaii, starting his work career in the Aloha State, and never having lived in Connecticut.

Was this subpoena issued by an Article III court or grand jury, or by a litigant?
The point that is this we Americans, at least the real patriotic ones that this, we are like a pit bull on this issue, we will not let go no matter how hard we are shaken.
We are doing this for our future generation. First off so history is correct and not a democratic edited version and secondly so it can be prevented from ever happening again.
The facts speak for themselves, Obama failed to qualify and though many allowed it to happen he technically was never eligible to be POTUS. Him being totally incompetent makes it even worse.

Even if Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama had been birthed in the Lincoln Bedroom of the White House Obama is NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.
Wasn’t the whole point of requiring public officials to disclose their tax and financial records allowing ‘we the people’ full disclosure of their private lives in order to avoid these kinds of fraud? John Kerry was just another case in point whom we almost ended up w/ as prez in 2004.
The mainstream press [fox included] thoroughly disgust me on these matters. They have more tools that ever at their disposal to leave no stone unturned in their investigations but when it comes to the government and ‘special interests’ they become completely myopic.

Yeah, if the “birth certificate” that was released is simply a scan of the typewritten copy,
there should be no hesitation whatsoever to release the typewritten copy for examination.
Except, of course, that they two will NOT match, and it will readily point out the fraud in the released version.

Where did Taitz get the idea the original is typewritten??? When Fukino looked at it, she said it was “half handwritten”. When Abercrombie looked at it, he said it was a “notation”; something “written down”. These are the only two eyewitnesses I know of; when did what they saw morph into a typed document?
