Don’t look for my wife and I to support a single Republican again. GOP, take your Party and shove it.

Let’s wait to hear from a reputable news source before taking up arms. This is an ap report, enough said.

about $2 trillion in deficit reductions, most accomplished through spending cuts.

WTF!!!! The word most tells the story. A simpler way to put is - taxes are raised.

Oh yeah, that’s real logical, placing all the blame on unmarried Republicans.

Sorry, forgot about that. It sounds so much like them. However, there is some back room deal we the voter know nothing about. That is usually the case.

Exactly. And let us also remember that Congress has yet to VOTE on the actual budget. Not just an agreement by a few.

This is nowhere near being a done deal. And we, the VOTING American public, need full transparency and the opportunity to see this proposal before the vote. No more backroom crap. Cuz if our side does that, they’re not our side anymore. I will either go third party..or sadly pack my bags.

Here is the statement from his web page:

Statement by Speaker Boehner on Debt Limit Discussions

Washington (Jul 9)
House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) released the following statement today regarding ongoing debt limit discussions with the White House:

“Despite good-faith efforts to find common ground, the White House will not pursue a bigger debt reduction agreement without tax hikes. I believe the best approach may be to focus on producing a smaller measure, based on the cuts identified in the Biden-led negotiations, that still meets our call for spending reforms and cuts greater than the amount of any debt limit increase.”

Boehner actually is avoiding Obama’s bait & switch offer.

Boehner’s $2 T cut plan is with no tax increases or deduction removals which most of us do not want in any debt ceiling deal.

Rick Santelli nails the Libtard b*st*rds in this OUTSTANDING RANT. Watch is colleagues at CNBC squirm in agony as he blows the other side away. Note their lack of rebuttal. Enjoy.

I agree it’s not time to hang all the GOP just yet, even assuming the ap report is correct.

IF there is a deal that the rats completly LOSE on all tax increases and includes spending cuts, albeit not the $4T the GOP wanted, then it’s a win. A small win, but a win, and a start in the right direction.

Sounds like the house GOP stood firm on no new taxes. maybe it was the rats that had to cave here and agree to spending cuts without any new taxes.

Yes they should be history. Most of this current group are not capable of dealing with the country-killing issues facing our country. They want to do business as they always have. It doesn’t work today.

Are we getting transparancy now? NO

They will wait until the last minute, claim a “crisis” and ram it though with-out the time to comprehend it.
