While talking to foreign reporters is a serious crime in NK, Kim Jong-il probably does not mind these people pleading for food aid. They would be more persuasive than their diplomats in pitching their demand. However, if we give NK a breathing room, we will face better NK ICBM's and smaller nuke warhead which can fit into these missiles. In addition, it would solidify Kim Jong-un's rise. He and his dad are still hoarding grains for next year's big bash. They make their people miserable enough, hoping that outsiders feel sorry for their plight and give food. Absolutely heartless and brutal people.

I’m sure Obama will be happy to offer more of ours. We’re just greedy Americans.
I never thought I would live to see it but a time is coming when the world will have to get by without America for a while. In the sense that they’ll see how much America has done but the flipside is that it will create a more dangerous world.

Can’t we send Moose Shell to NK to explain how eating too many fries will kill you?

To give them any aid would to be an accomplice in their continued enslavement.

scrape the military and sell off the nuclear stockpiles and there would be plenty of money to feed the people.

Some families now eat grasses almost every day. They have nothing else. During the last famine North Koreans stripped the landscape near their homes bare of grass and roots. Already weak, they had to venture further and further from home to scrape vegetation from the ground in order to survive. Their entire days were taken up with foraging and eating things we would never consider putting in our mouths. Apparently it is happening again. They have been dehumanized. No human being should have to live like this.

Extending a helping hand to the “people” of N. Korea might sound like it’s the right thing to do but it really isn’t. Giving aid would only help to enable the continuation of the circumstances that led to their current situation.
The only hope for the N. Korean people will come when a sizable majority of the military is hungry enough that they are willing to turn their guns towards their leaders and rid themselves of the Stalinist regime that rules over them. Every little bit of “aid” we sent only helps to prolongs that day.

Tell the world we are starvingThe part of the world that is familiar with the various economic systems and recognizes communism for what it really is already knows they're starving. That's the way it works -- we saw it in the former Soviet Union, Cuba, and saw it in China until they engineered a hybrid system of "communist capitalism."
Yet the Marxists of the world - for instance, our present administration - never seem to learn, do they?

It’s unbelievably sad and tragic that an easy solution can be found for N. Korea’s food problem...and all their other problems actually ...SHOOT KIM JONG-IL!!!

Probably so.
No dogs, no cats, few birds, people eating
belts and shoes.
