Hopefully you are right. We'll know after the primaries, if the electorate overwhelmingly endorses TEA party candidates over establishment RINOs, it's gonna be a smokin' general.
However if the RINOs easily push aside the conservative primary challengers, then the voters "anybody but a Democrat" penchant will put in place the equivalent of eunuch DemoRats, liberal progressive Republicans, without stones or spine, and they will be as bad as the Marxist Rats.

I believe a realistic comparison of before Obama and after Obama should be normalized to what the starting base was. From my take from the graph before Obama (blue) to after Obama (red) Obama has been increasing the public debt about 2x +or- faster as in previous years.
I saw a political cartoon awhile back. The first panel was titled "When Democrats are in charge" and showed a bunch of pigs feeding at a trough.
The second panel was titled "When Republicans are in charge" and showed a bunch of pigs feeding at a trough. Just different pigs this time.
Lots of truth in that cartoon.
The odds are promising, but it won’t happen by itself. In addition, Indiana Freepers need to oust Richard Lugar in the primary.
Even if what YOU think are “RINOS” take power it will make a huge difference. Look at the last two Supreme Court Justices and you cannot tell me it will not make a difference and keep a straight face or any integrity.
I don’t think it’s possible. We have 20 coastal states with guaranteed demo or rino senate seats. That’s 40 against us right there. Plus, there are plenty of other states that are at least competitive for left-leaning candidates. The senate will always be the biggest problem (besides the judiciary, of course) to going back to a limited, constitutional federal government.
It won’t look significantly better and after another year of Urkel’s blunders it probably will look worse.

Yes that’s true. The last I heard, about $150 to $200 billion of Porkulus original $787 billion had not yet been spent. They will carefully target the remaining spending for political purposes. Hate to be so cynical, but that is what will happen.
