Americans are so used to politicians lying to further their own agenda that they simply accept it now.
The only exception is when Pravda decides to beat a politician/candidate with past lies. It’s rare for such a beating to be sustained by a Democrat.

I guess it depends on Who’s ox is getting gored.
Obama was against it too.
Now it will do everything but save the world. Maybe even that.
Lying, deceitful, sorry ,pack of conniving dipsticks.

Question? Did it pass or not? If not the sky didn’t fall in like they want us to believe it will if this time it doesn’t pass.

What do you think? We are now talking 12 Trillion, not 8. Again, what do you think?

14 Trillion, and yes the debt shouldn’t have been raised back then. That’s the problem. Both parties lie and pass things. The GOP didn’t try to fix the debt when they were in charge and now they are making an issue of it.

Increasing Americas debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better. - Senator Barack Obama (Version 2006)
