My Niece has hair just like that and she has never had a Perm. She wears her hair shorter,and it is darker,and always frosted,but it is the same kinky curly hair. Her Mother had curly hair also,just not real kinky and she was a hairdresser.

Debbie Wasserperson (as she was known for years) needs to have it styled and straightened and pay more attention to how it looks. Humidity is not her friend.
