West: Obama supporters ‘a threat to the gene pool’
Palm Beach Post ^ | July 19, 2011 | George Bennett

Posted on 07/20/2011 7:36:48 PM PDT by bkopto

In his latest weekly update to constituents, U.S. Rep. Allen West, R-Plantation, calls the debate over the federal government’s debt limit “the ultimate ideological clash in America…between those who believe in principled fiscal policies and those desiring the socialist bureaucratic nanny-state.”

He rips President Obama‘s handling of fiscal affairs and the economy and offers this critique of Obama’s supporters:

“I must confess, when I see anyone with an Obama 2012 bumper sticker, I recognize them as a threat to the gene pool.”

“U.S. Rep. Allen West, R-Plantation”

At first I thought that was some kind of swinish slur by the writer of the piece.

Looking it up I see it is an actual town in Florida.

I think we ought to figure a way to enable Lt. Col. West and the punk in the White House to swap addresses.

Its not the true believers on the left or right that elect presidents. Its that couple of percent of actual independents that elect presidents.

They are the voters any candidate needs to win and they also are turned off by name calling high schoolboy behavior of all American politicians.

The candidate who will win will be the candidate that gets those independents..

I live in Sarasota, FL. For the past 14 or so months, I’ve been checking bumpers for those favoring a re-erection of the imam - so far, I’m up to 9 bumper stickers.

He’s toast.

Remember when the libs and African Americans were all excited about Obama, because he was a straight talker, and "tells it like it is," and they thought that was wonderful? Of course he was a snake oil salesman, with a forked tongue who smoozed them all while he danced to Soros' and other anti American string pullers. And who looked down his nose at his Black brothers and sisters while he lived high on the hog. But they couldn't see that. They loved Obama because he told them what was wrong with Washington and he was gonna change it.

Turn the dial ahead to 2011 and now West is the straight talker...telling it like it is. And from Obama on down the Libs and Black Americans are getting all wee-weed up with his sock it to them truths. They can't handle the truth. Even if it comes in the same color wrapper.

Truly I would love to see West AND Cain make some huge strides in this campaign...even if they do not get to the Oval Office, it is time decent, hard working, moral Black Americans gathered the following they deserve. We need leaders who can break through the lies and entitlement mentalities the Dems have perpetuated. These guys have a chance to bring the horrible class warfare, jealousy, and the lowered moral behavior of American youths to an end in our country.

Why hasn’t Big Media accused DWS of racism for denigrating Col West? Oh wait, I forgot she’s a Dem and they simply CAN’T be racist, can they?

I was just listening to the lunatic Mike Malloy this evening. Calling on “progressives” to take up arms against all “class enemies” in Minnesota. As in physical violence. Lots of Bastille Day references as well.

Since I am a business owner, I am automatically a “class enemy”. So where’s my business jet and yacht?

I am glad to be leaving Minnesota for Texas. I will still need to stock up on ammo, since CW2 going hot is inevitable.

He's insulting the part that won't vote for him, anyway, so who cares? Frankly, our side needs to do more of this - or do you prefer taking insults constantly from the Left?

I don’t buy your analysis. And at is point, this is refreshing to hear. What about the considerations the independents give Palin and the way she is treated. Somehow the “independents” forgot her.

I totally agree. I just love Col. West! Neither he nor Gov. Palin have any fear whatsoever. They will would make a great ticket.

Agree completely, with just a minor change :) Those two will steamroll over the RINOs and GOP elites. They will go on to crush the evil Marxist.

I will be attending the Dimwitocrat Natl Convention in Charlotte...and carrying a protest sign.

I hope you're in a large group of Tea Partiers, and across the street from the convention when you do that. Don't try to be a hero by going it alone.

how many truly independent people do you think there are? Many of them are democrats or republicans that just chose not to be affiliate with a party.

Do you need them to win? NO.

Zero will do a good job at making his base want to stay home. By sucking up to the mushy middle you water down your message and end up with RINOS.

Reagan did not water himself down to pander to a group claiming to be Independent. He ran on hard right conservative values.

McCain ran on mushy middle ideas. Look where that got us.
