...More facts about this monster....he even said he liked it there better than Tennessee because thee were more boys...the guys going to get off with insanity...you can bet on it.

A woman who lives three doors down from Levi Aron, 35, the suspect in the murder of Leiby Kletzky, told the Post that Aron had unsuccessfully tried to kidnap her son within the past two years.

Zisa Berkowitz told the paper that she was able to scare him away from her son with her screams. “The story is true. We’re going through a lot of trauma here,” she said.

Aron is undergoing psychiatric evaluation at Bellevue Hospital after his attorneys said he has hallucinations and hears voices

.A former neighbor called him an “oddball” who would give children rides in cars.

Aron had gone after another boy about a week before the murder of Leiby. He reportedly stalked an 11-year-old boy in Borough Park. The boy was reportedly walking home on his block, “when he noticed a gold car was tailing him. He kept turning around, feeling suspicious, and kept noticing the car was there, so he broke into a run and quickly went home to tell his parents,” said

The douchebag had the gall to wear his kippa/yarmulke after killing a Jewish boy. Rikers will be a nice world for him where he will be forced to eat non-kosher tube steak.

I would not count on it. We have recently seen a Murderer MOM get by with Murdering her 2 1/2 year old little girl. Throw her in a trash dump at a swamp. And the ignorant Jury let her walk.

Even if this guy confessed, I’ll bet money a Jury will claim because he wasn’t breast fed he needs to walk. Don’t people get it, american society has so devalued our children
born and unborn that any horror against them is excused.

There are ways around the death penalty not being imposed by the liberal courts.

At that time liberal judges were treating criminals as the victim of society. They would get light sentences and hurt more and more truly innocent people.

Then we got minimum sentencing and took the power of judges to harm us with their rabid pet animals away from them.

A friend of mine told me today that an acquaintance of her daughter frequented a karaoke bar in Brooklyn. A group of friends would get together for a night out. They befriended a guy there who became part of their group. He once said that he liked the karaoke place because the noise drowned out the voices in his head.

They all thought he was a little strange but evidently no one knew to what degree. He was even their "Friend" on Facebook.

They heard about the abduction and discovered their karaoke fringe friend is the perpetrator of this horrific crime.

It’s not a crime to drug and smother your kid in Florida.

The rest of the country needs to catch up with the 21st Century and stop looking to old ideals.

From my time in Lakewood, which has a large Haredi Jewish community, I saw that the children are raised to shun outsiders and to trust people in ultra-Orthodox dress. The little boy probably turned to a man rather than a woman because segregation of the sexes is practised, even though a woman would be safer for a lost child. Very sad.

I suggested to some female Hasidic and Orthdox friends of mine that perhaps they could tell the children to trust "mommies" who had their own kids especially those with a baby carriage. (not uncommon in urban New York as they are elsewhere in the country) They said that sounded like a good idea.

I heard today there are efforts toward a "Leiby's Law". Councilman Greenfield proposed using green stickers to designate a "Safe Haven" at a store or a home. Homeowners would have stringent guidelines and have to be subjected to a thorough background check and get fingerprinted. That doesn't sound like a good idea to me because there are too many variables that could occur and it would end up being a monstrous bureaucracy to boot.

The Casey Anthony problem was not the jury. It was the prosecution charging much more than it could prove. I have served on a jury that let an obviously guilty party that most of us loathed walk because the prosecution charged him with things that could not even be indicated as likely, much less proved.

I just hope the little boy was completely out of it from the drugs and didn’t have to suffer being smothered.

1. Insanity defense.
2. Not guilty by reason of insanity
3. 5-10 years in psychiatric hospital
4. “Cured” and released into society
5. Kills another little boy.

In a more rational world, the proper authorities would have already disposed of this monster.

“All I guess you can hope for in such a vile situation is that the child was unconscious and felt no pain.”

The murderer had numerous scratches on his face from where the boy fought him.

I disagree. He should see the streets, face first dragged at 40 mph to the dump and whatever is left should become part of the landfill

Please. The Casey Anthony jury could have found her guilty of child neglect - those pesky, troublesome 31 days of a missing two year old, ya know? They didn’t even bother with that.

The Prosecution did the best they could - Mrs. Drane-Burdock was brilliant.

The jury didn’t have to touch the death penalty first degree murder charge. But they had to get home to take care of their dogs and go on cruises. So a child murderer walks among us.

Nobody gets the D.P. in New York, not even cop killers or the architect of 911, Khalid Sheik Mohammed, which is why our beloved Attorney General and this adminstration in the W.H. were creaming in their shorts to have him tried in a civilian court in N.Y. so that not only would he not face the D.P. but also have a possibility of being freed for having his rights violated.

You should have 'hung' the jury, not let someone who you know is guilty walk.
