With a volunteer military , how long will it be before the USA can brag about a predominate and uniquely queer fighting force?

1. It won't be voluntary for too much longer. Look for the draft when recruitment falls way off...although with a crappy economy, that may take a while.

2. There aren't enough queers either in right now, or who really want to be in the military in the first place, to make them the prodominant group. This was nothing more than a poke in the eye of God fearing Americans.p>

We may have touched,unintentionally,on a scenario that qualifies for precedent setting and somewhat grotesque unintended consequences that will result during extreme combat realities upon the armed forces final divorce from DADT.
If I were a noncom trapped with my men in an indefensible position under intense enemy fire knowing somebody needs to draw fire so that the rest of us survives,who would I pick to die to save us all.

And I am glad that my military service preceded all this crap, including DADT. It then (1959-62) was a matter of Hell no, no homosexuals allowed, period.

Your number two might not actually be the case. Many homosexuals try to be very “masculine” and are gay because they think femininity is somehow inferior to their perverted form of masculinity.
