He sounds like a Fabian Socialist who accept Nazi/Fascists as well as Communist/Marxist/Leninist/Maoist/Trotskyite ideologies.

I’ve got a feeling “Mr Breivik” has taken himself out of the running for the Nobel “Peace” Prize. Or maybe not.

His stripped gears were moral, not mental. Once you decide that your cause is more important than your humanity, the only factor that remains is basically a question of how competent and resourceful you are.

I worked in the counter-terrorism field, one way or another, from 2001 to early this year. So, while I condemn his actions as monstrous and wrong, as an aficionado of deconstructing terrorist threats, I'd give him a solid A for planning and execution. If 5% of the Islamic terrorists could act as efficiently as Breivik, the world would be a far more dangerous place. If it was 25%+, the world would be on fire.

He is the direct opposite of all of the above. He loathed them. But, he wasn't a raving libertarian capitalist. He blame capitalism for parts of the problem, ie big business pushing massive immigration and the political correctness from those decisions.

No. Read his manifesto.

He despises the left. With an intense passion, from what I’ve read so far (I’m on page 452 out of 1,500 pages).

This guy was on the political right. We can’t wish it away.

[Fabian] George Bernard Shaw has frankly described this policy:

“Our propaganda is one of permeating - we urged our members to join the Liberal and Radical Associations in their district, or, if they preferred it, the CONSERVATIVE ASSOCIATIONS - we permeated the party organisations and pulled all the strings we could lay our hands on with the utmost adroitness and energy, and we succeeded so well that in 1888 we gained the solid advantage of a Progressive majority full of ideas that would never have come into their heads had not the Fabians put them there.”

The essence of the Fabian’s Soviet-by-Stealth programme was to exploit the natural tendency of all politicians, irrespective of label, to concentrate power. The Fabians set about influencing all politicians to support legislation which would so start centralising power that a process of delegation of power to a bureaucracy would become inevitable. Once the bureaucracy was empowered to make regulations and decrees having the force of law, responsible Parliamentary Government would be undermined, and the traditional Constitutional safeguards of the individual’s rights destroyed.

In other words, the Fabians set out deliberately to pervert the Parliamentary system.

It was just a thought...

I’m sure he’ll be gravely disappointed; he won’t get to sit down for cocktails with Al Gore.

Sure I know what a Fabian is. We have the Republicans and Democrats today, they are both Fabians; some more effective than others.

I think the guy was afraid to attack any moslems.

One of the teen survivors I saw interviewed on television was not blonde haired, and blue eyed. I am guessing his ethnicity was middle eastern.

Here in TX there is a Moslem Youth Leadership Conference which meets at a Presbyterian Camp every year. There are mixed reviews on that annual meeting from the locals. Here people just write Letters to the Editor about it, or appear on the local news stations with their two cents worth.

Something that keeps nagging on my mind is the fact that there was no one on the island that had a gun to protect the children at all! Norway is a country where it is legal to have a gun too.

While Norway is being overrun with Moslems (that’s right...Moslems...not Muslims; Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moslem) they seem to be in total denial of what their fates are going to be in the near future with Jihad.

Even though this was not a terrorist act perpetrated by the Moslems, the time will come in Norway that it will...in spades.

Once again, where were their guns to protect themselves?

Thank you very much for that. Great insight! Trying to understand world events can be very time consuming with all the opinions that hit the internet. It’s great to find a jewel from time to time. Thanks again!

Negative.

But you know they will, and they will attempt to restrict them.

It will be interesting to get Tom Greshams take on this today
