Will Gunwalking Violations of the Arms Export Control Act Spell Doom for the Regime?

Why waste time asking “what did you know and when did you know it”questions reminiscent of the Watergate investigation when Obama Regime targets of the Grassley/Issa congressional committees might already face felony charges?

That’s the question Attorney David Hardy and others are asking those investigating the role of Regime members in the deadly gun walking fiasco, Fast and Furious.

Since whistle blowers brought this scheme to the attention of Congress early this year, Senator Charles Grassley and Congressman Darrell Issa have been frustrated by Department of Justice stonewalling, subterfuge and misrepresentation.

As Grassley wrote to Attorney General Eric Holder in a July 18th correspondence, “If the attorneys working on the [Justice] Department’s response to the Committee spent less time redacting documents and more time producing them, we would be much closer to understanding the failures in leadership surrounding Operation Fast and Furious.”

But it is Hardy’s contention that the leadership at the Department of Justice, the ATF and perhaps the FBI and DEA are in violation of the Arms Export Control Act of 1976.

Nothing will happen because there will be zero press coverage. The press is in the tank for Obama and will cover his ass at all costs.

Question:"Will Gunwalking Violations of the Arms Export Control Act Spell Doom for the Regime?"

Answer: No.

Comment: Any person, firm or entity that provides the American people with a gentle flow of cash will win. Anything else is meaningless given today's ethos.

Not without a knock down drag out fight and with all that is going on now, I don't see a fight in the future in this arena.

Jacka$$ will be out of power in '13 and all efforts will be focused on making that happen.

If by chance jacka$$ got reelected, then yes I can see it as an issue at that time.

I just sent an email to First Coast Tea Party headquarters in Jacksonville discussing your concern.

It is good and fine for us to sit around on this forum and discuss things BUT IT DOESN'T GO FAR ENOUGH!!!

THERE IS A TEA PARTY GROUP SOMEWHERE CLOSE TO WHERE YOU LIVE, IS THERE ANY GOOD REASON WHY YOU CAN'T KEEP THEM INFORMED AND LIGHT A FIRE UNDER THEIR BUTTS?

I don't like to hear the woe is me crap, I WANT TO HEAR ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM!!

Indict Holder and there will be plenty of MSM press coverage. This bang will make Hiroshima sound like a firecracker.

Just the fact that Democrats are even saying Holder should not resign is great progress. BTW I agree. He should not resign he should be put in federal prison for violation of federal gun trafficking laws - you remember those? they were passed by Democrats in hopes of jailing Republicans for got caught giving guns to freedom fighters in other countries.

Gunwalker: Smoking Gun Email?

An internal ATF email seems to support the assertion that Fast and Furious was a PR stunt for gun control.

PJM’s Bob Owens has long speculated that the primary reason for Operation Fast and Furious was to perpetuate the lie that 90 percent of illegal firearms in Mexico were from the United States.

Owens’ assertion was buoyed on Wednesday by internal ATF emails obtained by Townhall.com. One email reads:

"Can you see if these guns were all purchased from the same FfL and at one time. We are looking at anecdotal cases to support a demand letter on long gun multiple sales. Thanks Mark R. Chait Assistant Director Field Operations."

This email was sent to Bill Newell, former head of the ATF field office in Phoenix, who was moved to DC after the Fast and Furious debacle was finally made public by John Dodson’s testimony to the Grassley committee.

To: Oldpuppymax; All

In a word NO the reason is simple both the GOP & the Democrats are dirty . Neither side gives a crap that the United States Govt. was deliberately arming narcotics smugglers/dealers, neither the GOP or the Democrat party gives a crap that Americans will be murdered because of the actions of the BATFE,U.S. attorney, the DOJ ,the State Dept. etc. God alone knows how many Mexicans have been murdered by the guns the idiots in the various govt. agencies have smuggled to Mexico & various other points South. LET ME REPEAT MYSELF SO YOU UNDERSTAND : NEITHER THE GOP NOR THE DEMOCRATS GIVE A CRAP !!! We as a nation now have a govt. that is basically a organized criminal enterprise.

Nobody is going to indict AG Holder simply because the United States Attorney’s office the folks who could /would /should prosecute the case are involved in the criminal activities of gunrunner/castaway . The United States govt. is now an organized crime syndicate.

The rot goes further than Holder. Operations FAST AND FURIOUS (involving Mexico) and CASTAWAY (involving Honduras) involve multiple departments and agencies of these departments. Departments involved: (1) Justice; (2) Homeland Security; and (3) State. Agencies (all part of DoJ): (1) BATFE; (2) FBI; (3) DEA. All of this criminality was orchestrated from the White House.

What these departments and agencies have done is violate U.S. laws: ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and (2) EAR (Export Administration Regulations). ITAR and EAR come under the U.S. State Department. Export of weapons and ammunition illegally to friendly foreign governments or organizations in those countries without that country's knowledge or consent are major FELONIES.

What we have here is a major criminal conspiracy by our own government. This whole episode reeks of organized crime with the exception that government employees were committing the actions. Think the DoJ Inspector General is going to bring RICO-type charges against these agencies or departments involved? Not on BHO’s watch.
