We should declare Atheism a religion. Then whenever there isn’t something erected anywhere we can sue them.

I wonder if the liberals hostility to religion is a violation of our rights. This dude says how God couldn’t be bothered to stop the 9/11 attacks, and how “so called holy men” have blessed the cross.

This Dave Silverman dude is hostile to religion. He’s not just concerned about the legalisms of church/state separation.

So, if government is to be neutral towards religious faith, OR LACK THEREOF, is it a violation of our rights if an atheist group gets their way? Isn’t that a state imposed ideology or statement if we have to be atheistic in any official commemoration at the 9/11 site??????

The "government enshrinement of the cross was an impermissible mingling of church and state," the American Atheists say in a press statement.

Impermissible in what way I wonder?

A genuine atheist would not be bothered by a cross. Or even the notion of others awareness of the Creator. Liberal drama queens.

Never let anyone tell you what you should believe in....or what you should not believe in.

Activist atheists really piss me off.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;"

A memorial does not establish a state religion!

Here we go again, allowing these 6 boobs to dictate what America can or cannot have on our World Trade Center.
I am appalled at the apathy we all have when it comes to OUR rights. This will go on and on until we all step up and do something. Sorry to say that will never happen. Oh well...

Uh, when the HELL did the Twin Towers site become government land?

Who do these people think they are?

When is someone going to stand up to this (or anything like it), and say that it is fine to have your own opinion, but if you think that I am going to abide by your opinion, you can go outside and play "Hide and Go F*&(*K Yourself.."

It is far past time...

I don't believe in bigfoot, and I couldn't care less if anybody wants to put a giant bigfoot statue up on public property.

This is because I'm not secretly afraid that bigfoot might be real and coming to get me.

Anybody that has voted Democrat in the last 50 years or so, has a hand in stuff like this...ie, removing The Word of God/Prayer from schools/the public square etc.

Blood on their hands actually, 60 million + abortions, gay marriage, removal of Christian crosses from places like this, and veterans cemeteries etc.

None of this would be happening except for people voting Democrat and moderate Republicans in.

So anybody that has ever voted democrat, really has no right to feign outrage now.

If anybody is outraged, stop voting for Dems and moderates.

Feel free to use it. I’ll stick with what I got as it’s as germane now as ever.

If you think a symbol - such as a cross - means nothing in the whole scheme of life, then how can it possibly be an offense to you??

I just wish I could see the look on their faces when they find out how much meaning the cross truly has.

Why would a cross bother them so much if they don’t believe in God?

Maybe we need some laws against satan’s people.
