"The looming crisis caused by runaway spending and debt will be thousands of times worse than any short term debt ceiling crisis. Why isn’t anyone concerned about *that*?"

They are worried about window dressing while the store is burning down.

“This is a freaking CHARADE!”

I think all these votes they’re having now are just Kabuki, designed to make it look like they’re “serious about standing up to the Dems” (solely to distract people and *to stop them from calling their Reps*). The backroom is where the real action is, as they’ve been doing all along.

I expect Dems to blatantly lie to people; makes me sick that Reubs would.

“As my husband says, liberal politicians are people who plan and scheme every minute on how to take away our money and our freedoms. No, they are not decent and reasonable people.”

And they are aided and abetted by their allies in the corrupt media. There is not enough money on this planet to satisfy their spending urges and utopian dreams. You married a smart guy.

Boner did a fire and forget. Once passed, he should have insisted on a full vote on CCB in the senate and not tried to pass weak bills with watered down spending cuts that never will materialize. That's what I mean!

You are 100% correct with your analysis of Boehner's actions. Since the passage of CCB he has done nothing to follow through in its support. He quickly went to a fall back position and has been seeking a way to cave ever since.

Just think of the tanning sessions he has missed. And what about all those prime tee times? And the happy hours? They can never be made up.

Yes, you think he could remember Health sCare... Quit sugar coating and do your job while you still have it, because a statement like this shows your judgements is questionable at best, although the “reasonable, responsible people” Democrats you reference have demonstrated a much worse lack of judgment

Boner would not know a reasonable responsible person if it bit him on the ass. Spent his whole life sucking on the government tit and riding corporate planes that belonged to democrats.

“We are now fully engaged” with the White House said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell in a joint appearance with House Speaker John Boehner. “It should be clear … that Senator McConnell and I believe that we are going to be able to come to some sort of agreement,” Boehner said.

Notice Bonehead did not tell the Senate to “Get your ass in line”.
That’s only reserved for us low life Tea Partiers.

Boehner: "We are dealing with reasonable, responsible people"

And all this time we thought he was negotiating with Obama, Pelosi and Reid.

“We are dealing with reasonable, responsible people”

Patty Hearst syndrome

Boehner’s been in the lions den so long he thinks the lions are cute and cuddly, while they plan to eat his caucus alive.

"We are dealing with reasonable, responsible people who want this crisis to end as quickly as possible and I think we will.”

Not being a member of Twitter I read nothing but the line above.
But – “reasonable, responsible people”? I thought he was dealing with politicians.

“Reasonable”

Is the poll tested response to that much wanted, mushy, can’t decide, INDEPENDENT voters. U know, the ones that carried the water in the 2010 elections.

Good luck with that my friend. He doesn't even believe the libs are enemies. You are so correct on all counts. And he is so blind.
