Of course NOT. Remember in a little over a year 23 Democratic Senators are up for reelection and their votes on the national debt, a very easy thing for the average Joe to understand, will be remembered.
I am very surprise that the vote was this close; it must have taken a lot of arm twisting and political threats to get 50 Senators to vote for it.
He has to go if he doesn't shape up. Sometimes, just sometimes, there has to be CONSEQUENCES for faux Republicans like Brown and those two political ladies-of-the-night, Snowe and Collins.
The proof will be in the numerical pudding that the American Conservative Union puts out periodically.
Newcomer Brown has no scoring yet....nice to see Senators Sessions and DeMint with 100% conservative scores.

Are you serious? Does he have a thing for cowboys? He complained about the cowboy poetry festival losing funding. Next, he will insist the Senate all watch brokeback mountain. This has to be a joke.

Were you as suprised as I that Maine’s two RINOs stayed with the caucus. They could easly have voted FOR the Eid bill..their votes were meaningless..
