No one in recent memory has faced the lefts vitriol like Sarah Palin (not even George W. Bush). The over-the-top, asinine attacks shes received have been so ubiquitous they need not even be relisted here. Just suffice it to say there is a genuine hatred of Palin throughout the MSM, the leadership of the Democrat Party, and the Republican Party establishment.
And dont be fooled folks: they dont hate her because of her convictions although they despise her convictions rather, they hate her because they cant control her.
Fortunately, the hatred the left holds for Palin is more than overcome by the love conservatives and right-leaning Independents have for her. They see in her a refreshing image that dares cast certain issues in the prism of right and wrong, just and unjust, American and un-American, etc.
Perhaps as a group, the Tea Party has come closest to receiving the kind of vindictive normally reserved for Palin alone. Theres no doubt theyre hated as she is hated, and equally no doubt that the hatred is a result of the fact that the MSM, the leadership of the Democrat Party, and the Republican Party establishment cant control them.
For example, during the push to get Tea Partiers to compromise (which is political speak for check your convictions at the door) and support Boehner 3.0, an angry John McCain took to the Senate floor and referred to Tea Party conservatives in the House as hobbits, Senator Lisa Murkowski , whom Alaskans foolishly elected over Joe Miller last year, referred to them as absolutists, and John Kerry, the haughty one, described them as a group of extremists, who dont understand the implications even of what theyre doing.
(Im not 100% sure, but I think Kerry said similar things about Vietnam combat vets who risked life and limb in a war he was able to extricate himself from via a number of wounds no one can prove he received.)
Anyway, lucid readers see that the MSM, the Democrat Party, and the Republican Party establishment loathe the fact that Tea Partiers continue to stand their ground.
Of course we cant overlook the fact that there is a fear factor involved here as well. One of the reasons the left hates that which it cant control is because leftists fear what they dont dictate. Thus, no matter what they said in order to give an air of confidence during the recent debt ceiling negotiations in the House, the bottom line was that Speaker Boehner had the power to sink Obamas ship had he locked arms with Tea Party conservatives and stood his ground. (The MSM, the Democrat leadership, and the Republican Party establishment all knew this.)
And all their mockery and dismissive language toward Palin notwithstanding, the left likewise knows that when she and the Tea Party lock arms, no ones seat is safe during a primary or a general election. (The November 2010 elections proved this beyond the shadow of a doubt.) And Palin knows it too, thus, during the House battle over Boehner 3.0 she sent a message via Facebook in which she encouraged conservatives to stand their ground and warned the squeamish: Everyone I talk to still believes in contested primaries.
In other words, the message to new Republicans who ran as friends of the Tea Party but voted as friends of Obama is clear: Palin is coming and the Tea Party is coming with her.
From where Im sitting, its hard to see where Palin ends and the Tea Party begins, or vice versa. And while thats a great thing for conservatives, its going to drive the left insane.

You got that right, 2nd.

Make that “the Kennedy Wing of the Republican Party”
Duncan Hunter is a an original TEA Partier...
as is his son...
My new tagline.
I don't recall them coming the defense of her Tea Party Caucus members who have been roundly savaged over this. I also do not recall their names being linked with the Tea Party Republicans in any news reports.
The Governor on the other hand was out front reminding them why they were sent to Washington and taking a lot of flack for doing so.
For example, during the push to get Tea Partiers to compromise (which is political speak for check your convictions at the door) and support Boehner 3.0, an angry John McCain took to the Senate floor and referred to Tea Party conservatives in the House as hobbits...
Not to put too fine a point on it, John, but the Hobbits were the sturdy working class that saved the day by throwing the evil Ring of Power into the fire, ending the hopes of domination by the Dark Lord and restoring the rights and freedoms of man...
F*&% you, John.
However, it is incredibly refreshing....it is incredibly exciting....it is incredibly wonderful for this country that there is a conservative leader - and as yet unannounced candidate for office - who is absolutely crystal clear about her morals, her positions, her issues, and her ability to fight.
I'm going to paraphrase her here just a bit...."Mr. President (and all dem/lib/prog/pop/rinos), ...GAME ON!"
Don't forget that they were able to do so because they cared more for doing the right thing than they desired the power the Ring offered to them.
Don’t forget that they were able to do so because they cared more for doing the right thing than they desired the power the Ring offered to them.

And they were willing to risk all.
Looks like a profitable bumper sticker to me. And a winning ticket.
“Palin is coming and the Tea Party is coming with her.”
Love it! Now to find some good graphics for it.
Hunter unabashedly promoted programs for friends and supporters in the defense industry whether the programs were needed or not.
The worst example was his continued pressure on DOD to continue work on a vertical take-off and landing aircraft developed by DuPont Aerospace after it had been rejected by the Army, Navy, Air Force and NASA and all four prototypes had crashed.
DuPont Aerospace was a major campaign contributor.
Supporting wild spending programs that benefit your friends is hardly Tea Party like.
Ping!
Quite frankly, I've been opposed to a third party. But after the recent shenanigans in DC, I'm more open to it than ever.
If the Tea Party movement would pick **one** candidate and get behind him/her, Myth would run home with his tail between his legs.

I like to watch the cable series “A 1000 ways to die” on Spike TV. I have seen how the leftist liberals influence the production of stories.

1000 Ways to Die

Up until the end of season one, the final story of each episode showed actual footage of dangerous situations that almost ended in death, along with interviews with people involved in the situations. A portion of these deaths have been nominated for or have received a Darwin Award.
