Cloward-Piven Paradise Now? (Good commentary)

Combine class warfare, demonizing the rich, getting as many people onto the welfare rolls as possible, and pushing the economic system to collapse and you have a flawless formula for Cloward-Piven 2.0 -- and a vehicle that ensures Obama remains in power.

Cloward-Piven is a much talked-about strategy proposed in the mid-1960's by two Columbia University sociology professors named Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. The Cloward-Piven approach was sometimes referred to as the "crisis strategy," which they believed were a means to "end poverty."

The premise of the Cloward-Piven collective/anti-capitalist gospel decried "individual mobility and achievement," celebrated organized labor, fostered the principle that "if each finally found himself in the same relative economic relationship to his fellows ... all were infinitely better off."

The duo taught that if you flooded the welfare rolls and bankrupted the cities and ultimately the nation, it would foster economic collapse, which would lead to political turmoil so severe that socialism would be accepted as a fix to an out-of-control set of circumstances.

The idea was that if people were starving and the only way to eat was to accept government cheese, rather than starve, the masses would agree to what they would otherwise reject. In essence, for the socialist-minded, the Cloward-Piven strategy is a simple formula that makes perfect sense; the radical husband-and-wife team had Saul Alinsky as their muse, and they went on to teach his social action principles to a cadre of socialist-leaning community organizers, one of whom was Barack Obama.

As the debt crisis continues to worsen, President Obama stands idly by an inferno with his arms crossed, shaking his head, and doing nothing other than kinking the fire hose and closing the spigot...

Even Jeff Immelt can see what’s coming. His company, General Electric, just pulled an Ayn Rand “Shrug”, and is moving another division(including the profits/taxes and jobs)offshore.

It doesn’t look like many of us will ever be truly happy again, not in this life.

Obama, his democrats, the RINOs, the gutless republicans, Obama voters, Obama owned media, the traitor libs and many other power hungry greedy bastards have ruined this country.

The pain, anguish, insecurity, hate and most of the other negatives we are experiencing today....... NEVER had to happen.

BUT.......... it is, what it is.

Bill Maher said that people don’t have an accurate view of socialism. He said that people have these ideas that everyone is on a collective farm, and that this is inaccurate. He said that socialism is simply another political party or political movement in Europe, and that people still have all their freedoms.

That pathetic clown should be pressed to define "freedom." Few at this venue would accept what he came up with.

Socialism in Europe destroys the upward mobility of the middle-class, by confiscating so high a percentage of their earnings, that they are locked in place--totally stultified. Sweden has been the classic example since the early 1930s. The Swedes did not totally self-destruct as did the Marxists (Bolsheviks) in Russia who killed off their most talented farmers; or as the major customer & ally of Swedens' Socialist Government, south of the Baltic; but in freezing the productive in place, they put a ceiling on any long-term progress.

Of course, the Bill Mahers do not understand dynamic human interaction. He is probably just mouthing things some hapless Academic told him years ago.

It was never the intention of these will-to-power driven mass murderers to provide the 'cheese' in the first place. People need to understand that those who currently occupy the White House are eliminationists - IOW, they wish to reduce the worlds population by 80% or more and to reduce the survivors to slavery - or worse.

Now if that seems a little tinfoil-hattish to some of you, then you're in for an unpleasant surprise. Because some of these wanna-be demociders in the White House have said as much in their papers, publication and university theses. It's a sick parade of monstrous ideas ranging from the introduction of sterilants into our food and water supplies to forced abortions (Eric Holdren, 0Bama's 'science 'czar'); from the philosophy of human control as advocated by 0bama 'regulatory' czar Cass Sunstein (nudge, shove, and ultimately - shoot) to the open call for population reduction via mass murder by 0bama security advisor Audrey Thompson (whose person and thesis advocating such methods now cannot be found). Some of them openly admire some of history's worst mass murderers and take their inspiration from them.

I.e. if everyone is forced onto the dole, then there are no farmers left to produce the milk and/or to make the cheese. F’n Idealistic short-sighted morons........”

You must not be familiar with Obozo’s new program to HELP the farmers. One of the new regulations he expects to enact will require anybody who operates farm equipment to have a CDL rated driver’s license. That will help to unionize farm workers. No telling what other great new farm regulations are in store to HELP the farmers.

You are a thoughtful and observant man, Mr Flax. The will to power is the curse of our modern age. Mass murder and eliminationism have continued somewhere, everywhere unabated for the last 150 years or so. We here in America are not immune from any of this.

Egalitarianism, collectivism and all of the other ‘isms’ are merely the pretext for the acquisition and retention of absolute power. Whatevcer they choose to call it, it’s nothing more than the excuse for the imposition of a murderous totalitarinism.

From the demagogue's perspective, you are probably correct. But what the demagogue plays on are the basest human emotions. And in understanding this, you need to consider the compulsive pursuit of uniformity--the neurotic need to deny all the important qualities that make each of us unique. Just like the colonists who opposed King George III, (and with MUCH MORE at stake) Americans need to show some ‘solidarity’.

Maybe, all the electricians, bus drivers, engineers, nurses, carpenters, phone co. workers, power plant workers, dock workers, cab drivers, managers, clerks, mail men... etc. can get the blue flu on the same day and stay ‘sick’ until the “prez” gets the point.
