You mean artificially propping them up with QE1, QE2 isn’t working? Actually a 9000 level is what I expect.

Glad I saw the “/s”...

Some folks might have gone Mid-Eevil on yer butt!!! ;-)

My pick for the Super-Duper Committee would be Louis Gohmert (R-TX)...

Anyone who said “Nay” to this damn deal should be first in line for this thing...

But, I’ll bet its going to be full of cowardly “yea-sayers”...

Louis Gohmert....don’t know enough about his credentials. Rubio “might” be another good pick in the Senate. I’d pick Ryan in the House. We need good numbers people who can see the big picture of this economy and how big a hole we are in. (oh, yeah, and people who can’t be blackmailed)

Sorry, Jeff Sessions is inellible to be on the Super Committee, since he voted against the bill. Gotta love their sneaky little rules designed to keep rational people from trying to save our nation. :)

So far I am surprised by some of the ‘no’ votes, including at least one member of ‘the gang of six’ Coburn.

No, but I may be wrong.

It was reported by the Weekly Standard that those voting against the bill would be inelible to serve on the committee, but Mitch McConnell said that wasn’t true.

I tend to believe McConnell, but just barely. We’ll find out soon enough I guess. :-/

I REALLY like Rand Paul. He may be my favorite in Congress right now (not many good ones to choose from). :)

Yes, I totally agree on Rubio and Ryan being on the committee...Gohmert is really a guy who actually looks at this stuff and calls a theoretical “timeout” to draw attention to the rediculousness of what comes out of Washington these days...Gohmert and Ron Paul (bless his little pea pickin’ heart /sarc) are the only Texas Congressional delegates who I last heard voted “nay” on this damn thing...

We knew Paul was going to vote no, so that was no big surprise...

I think we need to seriously look at those who voted Nay, and seriously consider replacing the knuckleheads that voted for this abomination...

Just my opinion...

Thanks, stevie d. Sounds like the type of person who SHOULD be on this "Select Committee".
