Was then recommended for the job was just told yesterday that they can’t hire him they just shrunk the department he would have worked for from 5 to 1. I saw a documentary about the collapse of the Wiemar Republic a couple of months back. Last week I talked at length with a man who’s family went through it. One of the things he said that hit me was that his father told him it seemed like overnight that everything was taxed, their property, their tools, their cows, their wagons, even each of their milk tanks. Within a year, no one could pay for anything and had to look to the government for everything.
