Reports are none of Seal Team Six who were involved in obama raid were on the chopper.

I don’t know whether to believe it or not.

By the end of his term, if not already, Obama will be a man who knows too much.

“There is nobody you can trust...”

That phrase alone sent chills down my spine. Because you are right. It is difficult to express what I feeling right now, because you need to be careful about what one rights on a public forum.

But I want blood. And right now, I am not sure if I want Afghan blood, Pak blood, Kenyan blood, Somali or Yemen blood, but I want someone to pay for all of this.

We are being governed by idiots that We’ved allowed to take over. From the local city council, to Washington.

I have never felt so humiliated as an American. I am just glad that my father is dead, and that he doesn’t have to see this.

As I write this, I can recall a moment when I was nearly humiliated. I was standing by the bank of mailboxes in the Cadet lounge in Northfield. I was there with dozens of cadets as we watched the photos on the TV. We saw the helicopters burning, and we saw the airmen being dragged through the streets.

Add the embarrassment of our Congress, and of our Executive and we are in crappy shape.

Nothing like AP giving the Muslims something to cheer about. Even if this is true it should not have been revealed.

I've flown enough rotor wing to have circumnavigated the globe, and had a full menu of close calls and near misses, so I'm a little more jaded to the idea of catastrophic accidents. Helicopters are convenient, but there's always an element of danger. Always. Whenever I see a crash I can't help but think, "There but for the grace of God go I."

Beyond that, even if Obama wanted to take these guys out, there's simply no way to assassinate a Teir I SOF team without a very high chance of being caught. The Rube Goldberg type plot device you'd need to get from 'order given' to 'task execution' could be exposed in a thousand ways, and would literally mean the end of life as you know it to all involved.

Tragic, yes. Sad, definitely. Fishy, no.

Don’t waste nukes. Fire is good enough for them. Sticky, hot, hell from the sky.

The white house photographic group (not the Press Corps) takes about 20,000 photos a week. At Camp David there are personal photographers, and Army photographers around at all times.

Not just for Obama, for all Presidents.

Just the way it works in these days of instant communication.

There’s no one available to do that right now.

I doubt it was planned. It’s probably a legitimate picture. Remember that we have a presidential photographer to capture his days in office. We have pictures of W when he was told about the WTC attacks.

Good Lord, no.

This thread contained information about the Seals. That’s all.

I am 100% confident that all of the folks around “here” are hurting for the utter waste of all of the lives.

The Seals might be the best on the ground, but the men that take them to work are the best at what they do as well.

Many around here will lump them all together. I apologize on their behalf if that was the message being read here. Certainly, that is not my intent.

You would know, but my only point was that you were taking away ALL possibility that it could have been something else. Helicopters crash, yes (I never have and never will ride in one), but this one is worth investigating. FULLY. Let’s not just blow it off as business as usual. You could be right, maybe not.

I guess that time-wise, Midway was the first tactical SIGINT coup. Yamamoto’s shootdown was after that battle.

Scarrrry isn't it? Remember when, during his campaign, there was the story that the military leaders could not/did not want to grant Obama top security clearance? There was a lot coming out about that at the time; then it died down. I wonder if they have been judicious about informing him of things since he became a resident in the WH.

Maybe it’s just me, but I find it unconscionable to focus on any political benefit from the death of our beloved Navy SEALs.

I saw a documentary about Viet Nam that was telling about different factions of the military. It went into great detail about the Seals working on the Mekong River. It said they worked out of a base built by the Seabees. And that’s all that was said about the Seabees.

So you are so right about the people who deliver the seals and support them. They’re all great patriots.
