Those Tea Party Terrorists LOL, Yes, S+P must want us to run up even more debt and spending as Democrats are proposing, see ‘unpayabl-size debt’=’solvency’

Of course Dems are repeating the line that ‘Obama put four trillion of deficit reduction on the table and Republicans rejected it’ line that he was planning for with his phony negotiations. Republicans still havent figured out how to answer that one when they go on the talk shows.

The thing is, they’ll repeat this bald faced lie until everyone believes it. The GOP needs to get out ahead of this one.

that’s the strength the left has ... their advantage ... of ‘leading’ from behind.

since they never do anything (where’s their budget?)...they can never do anything that can be viewed as wrong.

they just sit back and take pot-shots from behind (from behind US ... at our backs!)

Axelrod you tool! Here is the debt growth under Democrats and Obama:

The Bush argument is BS. Obama could have stop the Wall Street bailouts, etc., but didn’t.

My prediction:

The GOP will sit meekly sucking on their thumbs until in a day or two, Sarah Palin will send a 10-word tweet which FLATTENS the entire democrat party.

Just you watch.

Yeah AxelFRAUD its easy to blame the tea party rather then blame the guy who is actually PRESIDENT..ya know, the guy in CHARGE..if Obama were a Republican the Dems would be going after him like crazy saying he was responsible for all of this but since its a Dem in charge they are trying to shift the blame. Obama is the President(Feel sick even typing that) its HIS fault..deal with it Dems, its HIS fault

I posted right after the downgrade sayin’ that the Dems would blame the Republican Party in general and the Tea Party specifically. If I, a retired trucker, knew what the Dems would do and say how could our so called leaders in the Republican Party not have known this was coming? It really is just obvious. Probably every FReeper here knew this was coming.

The main question here is why weren’t they prepared for this? Why didn’t they go on the offensive immediately? Why oh why won’t they EVER go on the offensive instead of reacting to what the Dems will do and say. It’s not as if they can’t not know what the Dems are going to do in any given situation. They are sooo predictable.

Republicans! Get off your lame butts, and tell democrats they are full of crap and they know it. Say it! Stop being such weenies.

I guess they are still on vacation. That's it, right? Or are they simply sitting back and enjoying the show hoping it will rid them of those pesky Tea Partiers?

Is this all the TEA Party’s fault too,, AXelrod?

Dollar to drop on S&P move
http://news.yahoo.com/dollar-drop-p-move-saf-haven-demand-seen-044626271.html

LONDON (Reuters) - The dollar may fall and Treasury yields rise on Monday in response to the United States losing its top-tier credit rating from Standard & Poor’s but any selling is likely to be tempered by the euro zone’s escalating debt crisis.

Equity markets’ likely reaction was indicated by a drop of more than six percent on Sunday in Tel Aviv stocks, one of the first to open globally after S&P on Friday cut the U.S. long-term credit rating by a notch to AA-plus from AAA.

Investors will be all the more likely to withdraw to safe havens, such as the Swiss franc, the yen and gold, if euro zone officials cannot stem concern that their debt crisis risks engulfing Italy, the bloc’s third largest economy, whose government bond yields have soared to 14-year highs.

You're right, but two things make it unlikely. First, the 'Rats own the media. The media are the 'Rats. Relatively few people view news outlets like FOX. Most sheeple are spoon-fed their information from the MSM. That means they'll get the 'Rat meme and nothing else.

Second, it simply isn't in the nature of the GOP to fight the 'Rats. They simply don't do it. The 'Rats have always been the masters when it comes to down-and-dirty street fighting. In some ways, the GOP is like the kid who always gets picked on by the bullies ('Rats) and would rather hide than fight. The 'Rats will kick the GOP in the teeth and they'll just whimper. Then they'll be laughed at and marginalized. Until that changes, it will be the same old story.

How about Republicans would have been more than willing to cut $4 trillion and then some, but they were unwilling to strangle the growth of the economy with tax increases in the middle of the Obama recession. The Republicans ran on a platform that they would not raise taxes and won! Obama and the Rats had super majorities for 2 years, if they wanted tax increases why did they not pass them then? Why did they do nothing and let the debt and unemployment spiral out of control? Is Obama going to take any responsiblity for his trillion $ failed stimulus that we couldn’t afford? Not only did they do nothing, they made matters worse with irreponsible increaes in welfare spending and a massive new entitlement we can’t afford!

Republicans need to call Obama our AND DEMAND the Senate vote on Cut, Cap, and Balance! The public support the Tea Party in this!

One does NOT compromise their principles. This is a culture war that we are in and if the Tea Party is not victorious in 2012, it may be all over for our Republic.

Completely agree...Republicans have to start “speaking truth to power” as the libs say. We need to balance the budget NOW not 10 years from now. Start with what I call the “5% Plan”. Cut the number of Federal employee by 5% per quarter until we reduced the total number by 40% At the same time we cut their outsized salaries by 5% per quarter until they are 10% below comparable private salaries, say 30%. Then we’ll really see who wants to “serve” the Obama administration and Federal government out of their “big hearts”.
