A member of The Greater Phoenix Tea Party politely Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) to apologize for calling Tea Party members in the House and Senate "hobbits." McCain, who was quoting the Wall Street Journal, made his comments on the Senate floor.

"I am sorry if it was misunderstood. I am not sorry for what I said," McCain said to a heated audience.

"I mean, why should I when it’s the facts," Senator McCain added.

It’s gonna be very interesting to see what Sarah Palin has to say about this. Especially after she did the loyal soldier thing and campaigned for McLame’s re-election.

Being called a Hobbit by McCain is sorta like being called an Infidel by a moslem.

Just another reason to avoid RINOs like the plague.

It’s way past time to recruit those who still honor the founder’s vision of the way this country should work.

If that makes me a Hobbit, then I’ll gladly shave my toes.

"I mean, why should I when it’s the facts,"

Uhhh. OK. I'm not sure what to say to that.

He can be a mean little SOB, can’t he?

Is it so difficult to apologize?

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) to apologize for calling Tea Party members in the House and Senate "hobbits.

If you are going to think like a libtard, then you might as well call them racists, extremists, fanatics, and xenophobes too, while you are at it.

I wasn’t insulted by his analogy. It is at least somewhat fitting considering that we, the movement of Average Joe, are going up against an immense, intrenched power structure intent on using our kids money to remove our liberty and enslave us, and has done so for decades with relative impunity. If anything, I think he was insulting Democrats, who are supposed to be “the party of the people,” inferring they are the keepers of Mordor and the slave masters.

I don’t hate Mr. McCain, I still honor his service. However, he’s been in office far too long. It’s time for him to retire and do whatever it is old, wealthy men do.

I have no way of being sure, but it seems to me that when a person is immersed in the inside the beltway culture, they tend to develop a disdain for the voters, the rabble. Using that model, it appears John McCain is more comfortable with the beltway elite.

Time to go... bye bye now John McCain.

Any teaparty Republican in Arizona that voted to renominate him last year deserves what they get from him.

Any teaparty Republican that voted for J. D. Hayworth...well you did what you could.

“I mean, why should I when it’s the facts,” Senator McCain added.

Curious invocation of facts, that.

Unless McCain believes he is battling for the future of Middle Earth. So is he an elf, a dwarf, or a goblin? I say goblin.

Thank you, Mr. McCain, for your service to our country. Now, STFU, retire and let the AZ governor appoint someone to serve out the remainder of your term. She could appoint Porky Pig and the people of Arizona would be better represented.
