Source: Democrats Murray, Baucus, Kerry on Super Committee
National Journal ^ | August 9, 2011 | 5:28 p.m. | Susan Davis

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., will appoint Democratic Sens. Patty Murray of Washington, Max Baucus of Montana, and John Kerry of Massachusetts to the new super committee tasked with finding $1.2 trillion in additional deficit reduction by November 23, according to a senior Democratic aide familiar with Reid’s decision, which is expected to be made public as early as Wednesday.

Additionally, Murray is expected to co-chair the committee, officially named the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction, along with a still unnamed House Republican. A spokesman for Reid did not respond to a request for comment.

Reid’s decision to tap Murray will likely be met with scrutiny, as she is also chairing the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee for the 2012 election cycle. But she is also a member of leadership, a senior member of the Budget Committee, and a woman on what is likely to be a male-dominated committee.

To be fair to Washington voters, King County steals votes and Rossi was put up against Murray after losing two relatively close gubernatorial elections in a row. To add insult to injury, Rossi ran as “I’m the Republican” and wouldn’t answer policy questions.

...joined with a two-faced backstabber of epic proportions,...

Baucus is also an avowed, professional drunk!

AS soon as a Director is Senate approved, the CFPB goes into operation. It is the perfect tool with integration with the IRS to have the IRS wired in directly to everyones’ accounts for monitoring, data collection, and, I think, coming direct extraction of taxes at any interval the CFPB IRS decides on thru the Directors’ wide administrative powers in response to the CFPB’s Council of 5 or 10 to be, all appointed and approved by the Senate.

Direct tax extractions are probably coming thanks to the Dems and the failed election of 2008 to achieve a Republican Senate.

We have already heard of late from useful idiot Kerry, carrying the talking-point Tea Party Downgrade banner.

Freeper Liz has no better description-—Ovomitons.

Lest we forget ... John, who was once in Viet Nam, has issues with taxes on a floating-hole-in-the-water (aka, a yacht).

Taxes are fine for some people and not others. Just ask Timmy at Treasury.

Well, there you go. An elderly retarded woman, a professional drunk, and an anti-American traitor.

Look, I don't care you you sub with who, that line-up is definitely proof that the Democrats are in deep trouble.

This is not the beginning of a big compromise. This is a declaration of war. They are going to try and railroad congress into big tax increases, and they may succeed regardless of what the house does because of the fine print in the last agreement. If Republicans put up a fight, they will try there very best to portray us as zealots who are determined to destroy the country. If Republicans (RINOs appointed to the committee) roll over and allow the tax increases, then the GOP suffers and the Democrats win as well. Time for Republicans in the senate (?) to stop walking into the trap the Democrats set for them and to fight.

This will like watching the “Keystone Kops” how pathetic is that when things are so desperate...though the comic relief may be welcomed and think of all the great “sound bites” for re-election we can use against them....

They’re taking it very seriously. It’s the Republicans who have to do the heavy lifting, and the Senate is where they are the weakest. We’re about to get screwed the way we were when Obamacare was passed by the Democrats.
