I should have picked Hillary over Obama
St Louis Post Disgrace ^ | August 11, 2011 | BILL McCLELLAN

Posted on 08/11/2011 5:28:38 AM PDT by Second Amendment First

I was splashing around in Lake Michigan last week when the realization hit me like a wave — I was wrong about Barack Obama. I should have voted for Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary three years ago.

At the time of the primary, the decision seemed easy. I saw in Obama the same qualities Jack Kerouac saw in Dean Moriarty in "On the Road." He was 'something new, long prophesied, long a-coming."

Hillary was not new. She represented the second act of "Billary," and I had tired of that play long before it ended its eight-year run.

So I voted for Obama in the primary and then again in the general election. I even left the election night party at the Pageant — a party with an open bar and filled with state legislators, union guys and other acquaintances — to go to the Chase Park Plaza, where the Obama people were celebrating. I knew almost nobody at that second party, but I was there when the networks declared that Obama was the next president. People cried and hugged. I got teary myself. A black president. The times they are a-changing.

Indeed. They keep getting worse.

This article reminds me of a scene from the TV show “Taxi”.

Lewie grabs Jim’s ear with pliers. No reaction. The scene plays out for about 5 minutes. At the end Jim grabs his ear and yells “OW!!”.

Morons. They will never figure out it is the ideology that is a failure not the person.
It's like they say about every failed communist regime in history: communism is good, it's that specific implementation that failed... next time we'll do it right.

They are True Believers and facts-to-the-contrary will never make them give up their beliefs.

Reasons I've heard why people voted for Obama:

- It's cool to vote for him.
- He's black.
- He was 'something new, long prophesied, long a-coming."

Zowie. The Beast in the Bible's book of Revelation is a good fit here. Duffy Duck might even work. The end is near.

Letmee get this straight ...

You voted for Obama to prove you weren't a racist, and now you want to vote for Hillary! to prove you're not an idiot?

The Stupid is strong in this one ...

I got teary myself. A black president.

So really, the liberals ARE racists. It's all about skin color.

So the new adage is absolutely valid:

"If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you're not a racist, then please vote for someone else in 2012 to PROVE you're not and IDIOT!"

What a racist! (sarcasm)

I do hope Obama and his supporters give up power without trying to resort to violence, when the time comes.

No, Mr. Bush, I don’t miss you. I’m afraid you set the stage for our problematic and apparently unconstitutional leader.

“Why has Obama not lived up to the promise? He is clearly intelligent. For some reason, though, he was not ready for the rough and tumble of national politics”

This guy Mc Clellen who wrote this article along with millions of others is still caught up with the belief that
Obama is an intelligent man. REALLY?

The scariest words in the history of the US was when Pres-elect Obama told a crowd, "We are hours away from fundamentally changing America."

They crowd clapped and cheered.

We now know---to our infinite grief---what exactly he meant.

================================================

FLOP-A-RAMA----THE SAGA OF OBAMA and his "smart" progressive advisors.

He was all set to sail to reelection.

At a crucial stage in the 2007 Democratic primaries, Obama gave a barnstorming speech, ending with a promise of what his victory would produce: "A nation healed. A world repaired. An America that believes again." But the bankrupt world he created would not cooperate.

He threw trillions of stimulus at anything that moved but the sagging economy would not cooperate.

He was all set to take credit for the debt ceiling bill--but the stock market took a dive and would not cooperate.

He catered to Third World tyrants and terrorists to shore up his base--as independents ran for the hills.

We ain't seen nuttin' yet. God knows what Marxist progressives are angling to do next.

"Americans are too stupid to understand how smart you are."

Democrats doubt Barack Obama’s reelection chances
President Barack Obama is facing mounting doubts within his own party about his re-election prospects, with fellow Democrats beginning to ask if Hillary Clinton would have made a better president.

You are right! Unfortunately, if it has taken this person, and those like him, three years to get an inkling of who/what Obama is, they will never believe it about Hillary!

I have a passing familiarity with Bill. He is a true leftwingnut...and apparently a crybaby too.

Even a brain dead zombie could see Oslama was a community communist.

Yeah, but he was a bit unknown. Hillary was a known near-communist herself. And on the GOP side, the open primary process and the MSM conspired to give us McCain, a weak candidate at best.

A perfect storm.

I agree that other than Commander in Chief George Bush was part of the problem but there is real Hope for Change in the future.

“Just a leftist cry baby that Obama has been to weak and hasn’t delivered enough liberalism.”

Exactly. Totally in the tank for any Dem that makes him feel good, eager to spread the usual lies.

I agree.

But some Republicans would LOVE to see Allen West as President not because he's black but because of where he stands on the issues but they claim it would look to conspicuous because he is black and it would appear that the GOP is running a black candidate because the opposed candidate is black.

For those who feel that way, are they sacrificing their principals out of fear of how it may appear?

Okay, I read the whole article. He's basically admitted he's fine with the Obama’s Communism, he just wanted a more adept administrator of it. Oh, and by the way, he's racist.

This is like choosing the left nostril over the right nostril. You are still picking a booger.
