Wake County Voters Arrested For Voting Twice In 2008
Three Raleigh residents apparently thought casting one ballot in 2008 wasn't enough.

Authorities said Kierra Fontae Leache, Shelia Romona Hodges and Brandon Earl McLean each cast early ballots in the 2008 presidential election, then voted again on Election Day. They are charged with voter fraud and are free on $10,000 bond apiece.

Wake County District Attorney Colon Willoughby said six more arrests are pending.

Republicans leapt on news of the arrests Thursday to bolster support for a GOP-backed bill to require voters to show photo ID at the polls. Democratic Gov. Bev Perdue vetoed it.

Wake elections director Cherie Poucher said the three used their real names when they voted.

so you multiply this by every precinct in every state...

it adds up....

IIRC, some states we lost we're not by that many votes....between the stupid and the double or triple voters, the whole election is suspect...

let me tell you, not a whole lot of people were bragging even then that they loved zero....when a populace is silent about such things, you wonder IF the support was really or illusionary..

Colorado is already in the bag in 2012 for Obama due to systemic vote fraud. They used it in 2010 to defeat Tea Party Senate candidate.

Bass turds. I hope they get hit with the max. I’ve always been told about how “important” and “precious” my vote was. Bull****!!! When maggots like these vote multiple times, my “precious” vote isn’t worth jack ****!

In our local paper this summer, there has been an ongoing "dialog" between our county Democratic Party Chairwoman and several more informed citizens concerning this law. She used the tired old argument that the Republicans were trying to suppress the minority vote and that voter fraud is not a problem in NC.

Just two weeks ago, it was revealed that a local city councilman is registered to vote in Maryland (where he works for the federal government) as well as in NC. Although there is no evidence that he ever tried to vote in both states during the same election, he has been registered to vote in both states for the past three presidential elections!

Vote fraud won’t matter anymore when voting means nothing. Libtards corrupt and destroy every thing they touch.

Three were caught using their real names but the six others with arrests pending? It doesn't say.

What is it with Wake County and voter fraud?

Celebrity Clay Aiken was caught voting in several Wake County elections, including 2008, even though he lives in Chatham County.

He was not prosecuted. I guess some pigs are more equal than others.

This is so frustrating. We should change to vote only on election day and use the purple finger proof!

“it adds up....”

Just think what the thug-infested party could accomplish if we went by popular vote.

Might I ask, on election day , when a voter shows up at the polls what is used to verify the voter is who they say are and registered to vote? - Here in NJ you sign voting authority and your signature is to be compared to your signature in the master voter book ( which also has your name, address and birthdate) If “matches” no identification proof needed.
