Arutz Sheva ^ | 13/8/11

The "Tzeva Adom" Code Red early warning alert system sounded late Saturday night as Gaza residents fired a rocket into Israel. The past month has seen a sharp increase in the number of rocket attacks. The rocket hit an open area of the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council area. There are no known injuries or damage at this time. The short range rockets are often called Kassams, named after Izz ad-Din al-Qassam, a Syrian leader who led riots against the Jewish communities in the land of Israel in the 1920s and 1930s. He also organized riots in Syria and Libya.

Well no, that is why the updated narrative of the oppressed native Palestinians corrects for that. The far left deniers of Israel’s rights as a state correct and now say that while large numbers of European Jews came after the Holocaust, in order to cleanse the Palestinians and commit the same crimes against the Palestinians the Nazis committed against them, there were many European Jews who came to Israel in the 1860s and later, with the intent of colonizing the land and displacing the indigenous Palestinians who’d been there for hundreds or thousands of years, of course. And then after the Holocaust there were enough European Jews to commit the Nakba and steal the palestinians’ land, history, folklore, national dresses and steal everything else from their culture without coming up with anything original themselves. So to their credit, the modern Jew haters have at least made some corrections to their narratives, realizing their original narrative couldnt stand up to a millisecond of real scrutiny.

But what do they do with the Sephardic Jooos!? And what do they do with the fact that the British were blockading their Mandate after the Holocaust?

Or the fact that the Jooos! were still hopelessly outnumbered until the mass exodus in 1948?

Well the narrative doesnt have all the answers. I didnt say it was at this point a logically coherent narrative at all, just less outrageous than the older one-which naturally leads to plenty of outrageousness left.

I wonder where they get this stuff. Do they have a tape recorder by Helen Thomas’ bed, and take down her sleep babble?

They could; or they could use any number of Berkeley professors who make Helen Thomas seem rational and mild by comparision

Maybe they all, Helen, the profs, and everyone else, all have a seance or use a Ouija board, and conjure up the ghost of Edward Said (he is dead, isn’t he?).

And BTW, just curious here, do you have the updated death tolls regarding Israeli civilians killed by Hamas’s randomly fired rockets ? Shocking as it sounds, I cant find it on any media outlets here in the US, the country the world thinks is Israel’s b*tch.

I’ll have to search around for it. I’d like to know, too. From what I’ve heard, they don’t kill a lot with those rockets, just scare the crap out of everyone in the Negev all the time.

The silo is mightier than the missile with the nuclear payload, at least for sane people. Insane people, however, tend to ignore deterrents.

That is what i thought, and in the world we live in, that’s actually in some ways bad news-the Israelis cant protest about how their women and children are being murdered en mass these days. The Palestinians can go on about how more than 10 Palestinians are killed for every Israeli-so clearly there’s no real reason to stand by Israel. And they can count on the rest of the world to ignore that pesky insignificant little detail about how Israel makes efforts to protect civilians and Pali terror groups dont. Hell, much of the world believes it is Israel that uses human shields and endangers civilians while Hamas is genuinely interested in protecting Palestinian civilians snd only targets Israeli soldiers.

Israel started by having an underground fighting force that did its utmost to protect civilians, while boldly attacking the occupying force right where it was strongest, thereby humiliating it and causing it to lose prestige (see Revolt!). Israeli prestige is built on this practice of humane warfare under difficult situations, and is attacked by the enemy deliberately making it next to impossible not to harm civilians when retaliating. Their prestige, however, is built on something, too. If we attack their prestige, we beat them. But what is their prestige built on? Lies, mostly. But how do you attack a lie. Facts, logic and truth are no help. A lie takes on a life of its own, and to explode it you must rob it of that life force. So what is it? Ponder ponder ponder.

I haven't been able to find a firm number on how many were killed in rocket attacks, but terrorist attacks and "random engagements" have resulted in the deaths of 9,745 soldiers and security forces and 3,971 civilians from 1948 to 2010.

From September 2000 to August 2010, 1,194 Israeli civilians and foreign visitors were killed by terror attacks and another 7,000+ were wounded.

There isn’t a list of deaths that I know of but there is a list of incoming rockets

List of Palestinian rocket attacks on Israel, 2011

You can find the list for previous years since 2001 by changing the date on the link above

Maybe Obama will pick Ron Paul to be his running mate in 2012 if Biden decides he’s not going to run for vice president. they both seem to have the same ideas

Why yes. There was, in fact, peace on earth up until the evil Jooos stole the land in Israel and started committing genocide against those nice, peaceful Palestinians.

The best way to bring peace to the middle east is through integration and assimilation. Set aside 10 percent of the housing in the west bank settlements for Moslems. Make sure that there isn’t one classroom in Israel that doesn’t have a good mix of Arabs and Jews. Finally give Arabs special hiring preferences at the expense of Jewish men.

This system has worked very well in the USA. Despite having riots in the 1960s Black and Whites get along great. The only interracial hate crimes are committed by Whites and if anyone even says something against another race he is socially ostracized and may even lose his job. It is wonderful! Now we even have a Black president. Yeah!

Wouldn’t it be great if Israel had an Arab prime minister?

(I am new here so I hope everyone recognizes this as sarcasm)

Thanks for the info. The view of the masses is this not enough murders for Israel to get worked up over and not a severe enough situation to where they should be firing back. Ergo, the Israelis need to simply let it slide.
