Many of these flash mobs have been violent. I expect that a Goetz Moment is forthcoming sooner rather than later.
Lots of racist comments on that site, mostly by one single poster.
However, one poster had a great idea. The store owner should simply step outside the store, lock the kids inside and call the cops.
It's already happening on a smaller scale. It is just not being allowed to be reported.
Like the regular cases of horrific black on white multiple murders.
No point is relying on the MSM.

Not lazy or freightened...the inner city police are part of Obama’s army. when the SH%t hits the fan they will be there with him armed to the teeth
And when the cops arrive they arrest to owner for false imprisonment, and child endangerment. They'll also call the Fire Marshall who issues citations for having the exit doors locked while the building is occupied, and for over occupancy.

Need a store with unbreakable glass and remote door locks. When they get in the store, step outside, lock the doors, and gas em. Like a Roach Motel. Bugs get in, but they don’t come out.
About two years ago, our next door neighbor’s son was frequently being visited by a small group of black teenagers. Needless to say, it made me very nervous. One day, one of them was trying to open the gate to our backyard, I confronted him through my window and asked him what he was doing. He said he thought it was my neighbor’s gate. They went away. I thought for sure there was going to be a retaliation against me later on. I prayed alot for divine protection, and by the grace of God nothing ever happened, and, they stopped coming around so I really don’t know what happened to them or why they stopped coming.
You obviously scared the cr@p out of them by asking them what they were doing. /sarc

Stores are capable of defending themselves. That’s NOT our problem. If a person or their family is threatened that’s a different story. You have the right to defend yourself.
7-11 doesn't need our help with flash mobs. They'll figure it out.
Conservatives need to change the laws so any minor caught violently breaking the law, causes ALL people in his family to lose their government checks. SSI, Disability etc. If no one is receiving a check, then a $500 fine.
'Shelters' - safe but not pleasant - could be set up - places where people would not want to go back to... no video games, cable TV etc. But no one would do without food or shelter.
I suspect if that happened, the parents would start teaching their children how to behave and the problem would solve itself..

I was laughing out loud when I saw that. But another thing struck me about this. This was the most civilized (If one can say that) mob looting I have seen. Usually when the mob is done, the place is unusable with everything strewn on the floor and half the place destroyed.
These cases are almost impossible to prosecute. First, how do you identify who they all are? Snitches are not coming in for a misdemeanor shoplifting. Maybe you catch a couple on the way out, but they are NOT going to give up anyone unless they are looking at a long time in the joint and folks, these are ticketable offenses and these thugbabies know it.
If they are juveniles, the juvenile holding facility is not going to house them unless they committed a violent felony. The parents don’t give a rip and probably sent them to the store anyway. No way they are going to jail for their kids, the alphabet social agencies will make sure of that.
How do you even tell what was taken? Any defense attorney can rip that case up unless you can specifically say “this item at this cost was taken by this suspect specifically.” Also the evidence is long gone and no police administrator is going to spend the manpower and time to chase thirty shoplifters when there are real armed robberies going on in the same area.
These kids also know from their big bros to get in an out in under a minute to beat the silent hold up alarm response which will bring a host of cops. These thugs were GOA (Gone On Arrival) and an area canvass is going to be worthless. Unless you have worked urban law enforcement, you would not believe how networked these thugs are. They can hide in ANYONE’S house in the ‘hood and it really is EVERYONE against the “man”. It’s incredibly pervasive and it starts at a very young age.
I have been in more than one innercity store where ALL the product is behind the counter and you tell them what you want and the clerk gets it for you. That keeps the shoplifting down. Robberies too, since they hand everything through a little window.
Locking these thugbabies in would be a good method but they will destroy the interior and any bystanders in the attempt to escape. Remember, these kids will smash a stolen car against a tree and make you believe there are no survivors and then come squeezing out and off like gazelles. Imagine what they are capable of when trapped and knowing the popo is coming.
These folks are why no stores thrive in the inner city. You can’t legally do what needs to be done either....
